Old Tim is SO frustrating. He can obviously be good company and has some pretty good insights into others at times. His comment about the red flag shop and Jack encompassed both aspects.

But his pigeaded stubbornness and angry outbursts are not good. It'll be interesting to see how things progress now hes cracked a bit. I was surprised at how readily he admitted to the boys that he'd losit it and had been crying

Lucinda is 43 but does anyone else think she seems much older?

I'm 40 and she seems like a very adulty adult to me. The kind of adult I'd look for in a crisis Grin

I think I've said on a previous thread that she reminds me very much of someone I know. The someone is easily old enough to be my Mum, and yet Lucinda doesn't seem like a younger version of her!

burnoutbabe · 02/04/2024 21:42

Weird Jayden didn't apologise for making Tim cry. His answer was tactless.

And tristsin was the one to comfort Tim.

Lucinda is annoyingly positive!

If jack kissed Sara won't it be on film? And if sone at dinner party then probably innocent to sone extent. I'd not dump for that if I was tori.

Instagram decided to show me loads of current contestants Instagram accounts tonight. Annoying!

mewkins · 02/04/2024 22:19

Tim and Sara are a mismatch. He is conflict avoidant and she jumps in with both feet. It will never work.

Stephen should just go home. Love how he's turning swapping numbers with another guy into Michael's fault for their not being a spark. I suspect their age difference is playing a part. Stephen is not mature enough to understand loyalty.

Twonewcats · 02/04/2024 23:06

Jeez Jack - Tori is "enough" is like saying she's nice or she's fine.

I think Lucinda looked amazing with the hat etc, the style and colours were great on her. Tim was so much more animated in a good way at the retreat. Maybe he's starting to fancy her after all. I had a 3 year relationship with a guy who I'd known as a friend first, and didn't previously fancy him, so I never really understand the view of some people, that it isn't possible to find a spark

TinselAngel · 02/04/2024 23:08

The kiss on the neck thing seems a bit like creating a drama out of nothing given it happened weeks ago. My friend accidentally kissed my neck the other day when she was aiming for my cheek, and I turned round.

mcmen05 · 02/04/2024 23:34

Stephen and his family never liked Michael from the start. Michael deserves better
Sarah Tim and Lauren do need to focus on their own Marriage. Michael was right, but he was bit aggressive the way he spoke.
Happy that Tim and Lucinda had a long hug.

JellyBeanFactory · 03/04/2024 00:04

I wish Tim Jnr had picked up that Sara told Micheal "you need to relaaaaax" 😂

Tori will think Lauren/Sara are jealous and return to her lobster (as she is turning).

I still have romantic hopes for Tim the Elder and Lucinda.

No spark at all between Lauren & Jonno now.

JellyBeanFactory · 03/04/2024 00:05

Oh and what did Eden see...

FleurdeSel · 03/04/2024 00:36

I agree with @mcmen05 Stephen was right with what he said, not in the way he said it.

Sara is very fond of kicking off and then wanting Tim to come to her rescue when people, (quite rightly) call her out on it. If she is big enough to dish it, she is big enough to take it.

FleurdeSel · 03/04/2024 00:39

I agree @browneyes77, Stephen said he could see nothing in their future but friendship and then called Michael a drama queen for saying there was not point carrying on.

Stephen must have wanted a trip to Bryon Bay. I was very surprised to see them there.

Jayden was a bit thoughtless.

Newestname002 · 03/04/2024 04:43

LuluBlakey1 · 02/04/2024 20:19

Michael shrieking at Sara is very unattractive. Tim ignoring it is also unattractive. He;s another Jonno- boring as fuck. Wimp.

You are so right - what on earth is wrong with these men? Tim (younger) saying he's not confrontational is just mad as you can have your partner's back without that. He just doesn't get it.

Also I think Michael and Stephen should both leave - I can't see why Michael agreed to be in Stephen's company longer - unless it's for the exposure. I have sympathy for Michael but there was no need for him losing control and screeching at Sara - it's Stephen who's being cruel to him. 🌹

Yes Jayden had the opportunity to apologise to Timothy and didn't do it. I thought that was really immature and/or thoughtless. Good on Tristan for giving some understated comfort to Timothy though. 🌹

I think it's her hair which is letting her down. She's an attractive woman but the shade of blonde is washing her out a bit - maybe needs to be a warmer shade (maybe fine high/lowlights of caramel and auburn might suit her better, together with a deep conditioning to give her hair some shine.

BTW I loved her yoga session - she obviously practises regularly - I'd love to be that supple. 🌹

Newestname002 · 03/04/2024 06:40

I had to watch the last episode back on demand as I couldn't quite believe what Jack said to the other guys on their boys night out.

After squirming about whether Tori would be the mother of his babies and fudging the answer. He was asked by Timothy "are you in love with Tori?" and Jack said:

"Course I'm not in love with Tori. No man. I'm not in love with Tori."

I feel so sorry for Tori as there's no way she, and the other women, won't hear about this in a nanosecond and she'll be so humiliated to hear that he said this so clearly to other people, but had still been pulling her strings. 🌹

sashagabadon · 03/04/2024 07:23

Jayden may not know about Tim’s family. Or may not know the circumstances. So I don’t see any malice on Jayden’s part, it was more an expression of how close Jayden us to his family and not thinking about anyone else.
Jack is a Wally but none of the men are in love with their wives with possible exception of Jayden.
Jack should have thrown that question back when asked it.

kenyaswhiterefrigerator · 03/04/2024 07:46

Tori is very pretty but she's maybe not Jack's usual type.

When Ben made that strange comment about not liking Ellie coming from the Gold Coast a lot of people were confused.

Some Aussies waded in and said it's the plastic surgery capital of Australia. Stereotypically, it's all fake surgery, fillers and surgery- it's considered the TOWIE of Australia.

Jack is from the GC so my best guess is that his usual aesthetic

LaLaLoca · 03/04/2024 08:24

No sympathy for Tori here I’m afraid. She has shown her true colours. Sara is totally stirring and seems to have waited for an opportune moment to maximise her big reveal.
Big Tim now deems Luc as shaggable cos she’s been a rock for him- I just couldn’t be arsed with this dude, who does he think he is.
Michael is a big child and Steven deserves much better. Pretty much a shit show of contestants this year, very few redeeming characters, the men are emotionally immature.

It's also possible that Jayden apologised right away and not shown.

Jack may well have said "of course I sm not in love" it's been 5 weeks! And they cut it out. But like a politician who knows never to say sound bites that can be cut, you'd add YET and I can see us on that path (or something similar)

PointerParty · 03/04/2024 08:30

I actually hope that Lucinda and Tim end up being really good friends, he does need an anchor in his life and I think Lucinda could be that person if she's a friend. A romantic relationship might break down and then he's lost yet another important person from his life.

Stephen handled that really badly, but I agree if there's no chemistry at the start then you're fighting a losing battle, not sure why he didn't just leave when he'd worked that out. Tim the younger should really have piped up when Michael told Sara to shut up. You could tell how drunk they all were though, Tim sounded pretty smashed when he was talking to the camera!

burnoutbabe · 03/04/2024 08:31

Should Tim have defended sara? I am not sure I'd appreciate anyone jumping in. Maybe if sat next to me? But it's a bit unpowering to do that, like your dad speaking up.

Stephen should have stepped in to stop it. I don't think Tim was needed.

PointerParty · 03/04/2024 08:31

Last night was nowhere near as dramatic as billed... the sound bites of Sara saying "OH NO HE DIDN'T" turned out to be Jack showing people pics of his ex 😂

MagpiePi · 03/04/2024 08:34

Anyone else find it a bit goulish watching old Tim have a breakdown and then Lucinda saying it was such a good thing as he was letting his walls down, as though this was her way in of starting to have a romantic relationship with him?

Her 'being there for him' and helping him open up emotionally is either a counsellor/client type relationship, or something you'd go through as an established couple, not a way to form a new relationship.

I agree. I don't like Jack at all, but can they really say that their wife could be the mother of their babies...are they IN love? That's editing for sure

RancidRuby · 03/04/2024 09:55

I agree about not seeing an issue with anyone of them saying at this stage that they are not in love. If anything I'd find it a red flag if someone did declare their undying love after such a short time. Jack's mistake was that he should have said that he could see himself falling in love with her but that he's not there yet rather than a flat no I'm not. Although TBH I find that expression a bit disingenuous too when someone trots it out, it's a bit meaningless.
