Well if we are going to ignore the giant red flag of mental illness - yes Maddie will ignore when she is in stressful situations because her unwell mind will be running it's own internal narrative, so she will likely zone out. I will however not be able to get on board with being annoyed by this as she should be medicated and not on global TV.

Man bun - who's teeth glow next to his very red skin (what is that about, sunburn?) is on borrowed time and actually comes across as very boring. I can't imagine how she is pretending all is well when even Saint Cass has all but given up without anything going on in the bedroom.

Poor Cass - I could not have dealt with Tristan from the off and I think she has done very very well and must be mentally wanting to run a mile by now. He said the whole "I'm the guy so it's going to be my fault I guess" rubbish which would have been the final straw for me - not being able to admit his own fault despite being told by the experts, Cass and the interviewer that it is his lack of intimacy that is causing it.

Ben really creeps me out. The whole "my SIL's kids were screaming and shouting and I just thought "Yes! I want kids"! was such a lot of bull. His face when he said it showed his actual disgust at the idea. He is not personable to win new clients on a show like this and is coming off as a huge sociopath instead with creepy eyes. I think his wife and the blond guy with Sara would have been a nicer match. Bun man and Sara should have been put in a ring from the start and they should have dropped Tristan, Ben and Madeline.

Tim is one of those old guys who thinks he is still 20- would buy a Thai or Russian bride given half the chance. Bit of a god complex. Only reason he is on the show is because everyone died and he realised he hadn't put any effort into making friendships or relationships that last throughout his entire life; all very selfish. Feel very sorry for the admittedly annoyingly intense but completely harmless and sweet wife. I hope she looks after Maddy as I think she will take her under her wing.

I can't believe they didn't tell replacement groom he was a replacement-surely anyway he was already "in the systems" and did all interviews sane time as others? They would have had 20 or so suitable gay males to interview to find a good match.

He has zero experience, intense anxiety and deep rooted insecurity (whether he's NT or ND). He's SO far out of his depth he's paralysed. The more he's told what's expected of him, the less likely it is he'll "do" anything.
He responded to the direct encouragement and precise instruction Alesandra gave them in intimacy week. If the ixperts really were there to guide and support the relationships, this support would continue and would probably help.
But getting him to the point Cass needs is beyond realistic expectations.
It's really cruel to both of them.

I have went right off Tristan with the whole “I’m the bad guy, it’s all my fault”.
Very much the “I’m a nice guy” but not taking any accountability for actions

I also 100% think Madeleine is acting, she’s clearing the path to be a TV psychic when she gets off MAFS, not a hard gig to get at the best of times I imagine, but being a very attractive woman and with the MAFS exposure she’ll be quids in.

Tristan. Could Well be ND. He has a slightly robotic voice. Lack of confidence rejection sensitivity and demand avoidance (being told to be more affectionate means he will be paralysed into being unable) I'd say possible ASD or the old Asperger's.
I feel that possibly Australia is a bit behind with this as I also see it in Natalie with her plushies hyper active and rejection sensitivity too.

It's a myth that Autism is a lack of feeling and empathy. Many are extremely over empathetic and feel things very deeply

Madeleine is either exhibiting performance art or I'm concerned about psychosis too, if she's being honest about her voices.

She seems to be quite detached from what's going on with the 'rawdogging' her speech, as Tori fabulously put it, quite nervous of the groom after that 'download', and definitely has no confidence in her 'gift' if she switches so quickly to being happy with him based on one shaggy dog story about something appearing over the bed. If it's not acting, she seems very vulnerable, especially with the others taking the piss immediately. His interest seemed to be about her looks.

Even if she's an utter fake put in for dramz, it's not fair to suggest someone hearing voices after a bereavement should be suitable entertainment.

Like someone has just said, genuine folk looking for love is compelling enough.

Also all we ever see is people telling Tristan to be more affectionate and make the first move. But why can’t Cass also make a move? Especially if she’s more experienced with relationships.
