I think Fred was going to marry Bev, she was Shelly's mum, he declared his love for Audrey on the wedding day, had a heart attack and died, from what I remember anyway.

Anthony Cotton got slated on digital spy for his acting during that scene. I thought he was very good and can honestly say that's the only time I've seen 'proper' acting from him. Usually all he does is flounce😂

No one bothered about Steve and Traceyluv breaking up? 😆That was some feat of hers, making it seem as though Steve was in the wrong.

Is it about to unravel for Jenny and Daisy? Good. Carla should get her money back AND take over the Rovers.

Have we got new writers over the last week or so? There's been a noticeable improvement in dialogue, albeit some of it of the Carry On school of comedy.

How did Adam magically get his hands on the cctv ?!

I've lost track of the Adam story. Why is he wanting rid of Damien? I thought he dumped Sarah very publicly at the baby shower when he found the baby wasn't his. Totally humiliated her. Yet, now he wants her back. Very odd.

I really don't care about Adam's story any more. Its just dragged on and on.....

So boring isn't it. Why doesn't he let the whole Damon thing go instead of risking his career.

@TellingBone I agree that there has definitely been an improvement in dialogue recently. I’ve laughed!
There also appears to be more extras hanging around in the background making places look realistic and busier.

Can someone remind me how Jenny & Daisy managed to buy the Rovers, did they steal the money from Carla?

Yes - or rather they didn’t fess up to finding money that Stephen nicked from her and the factory. And they then nicked it themselves. All done via laptop and incurious conveyancing, and all wildly improbable.

In fact it’s such a stupid storyline the writers will have trouble wriggling out of it without throwing about vague ideas of ‘fraud’ and ‘misrepresentation’, and crossing their fingers.

I think they wanted to shoehorn 2 women landladies into the Rovers( first time?)
I don’t think it works well; just gives Daisy more opportunities to gaze gormlessly into the distance

Didn’t Daisy miraculously work out Stephen’s password and log into this account. Then transferred everything. Since it was done electronically there would be a clear trail showing the money fraudulently going to her or Jenny’s bank account but that’s a minor detail.

And then the solicitor dealing with the Rovers purchase obviously didn’t ask to see proof of the source of funds (probably ‘trained’ at the same legal school as genius Adam). All sounds totally plausible😂

A relative of mine died last year and getting access to any of her accounts has been like trying to enter Fort Knox so Daisy is clearly a criminal mastermind.

I think Maria is very attractive and young-looking! There are quite a lot of attractive women on the street: Daisy, Carla, Bethany, Sarah, Maria, Lauren, Dee Dee, Aliyah.

Just like real life, lots of attractive women, shortage of attractive men.

Adam's hair last night was amazing! He's got enough for 3 men! It doesn't look wiggish either.

I love watching him walk 😁 and the same with Gary. Hard man swaggering at it's best.

As for Steve and Tracey, is one of them leaving the soap? 😏

If Tracey runs off to listen to her tapes with the footballer bloke, then that leaves Steve and Tim to run the Rovers as a hilarious tribute act to the Chuckle Brothers. (Steve can win the lottery and forget to tell Tracey, with even more hilarious consequences.)

She didn't really say he was in the wrong, just that she could not be bothered with the marriage any more, although she didn't have to mention Tommy's muscular thighs.

It was typical Tracy although I see where she is coming from, Tim and Steve have both become very boring middle aged men in the last few years. They both used to be quite fun, now it is just all beer and football talk.

It would have been more plausible if Tommy had got it on with Carla rather than dreary Tracey !
