When will we see Emma again?
Will Al’s attackers ever be caught?
What happened to Al’s date that night?
Will Bear ever wear trousers that reach his ankles?

My Sky box still shows a picture of Rich every time I go to my recordings of Doctors, I do hope he’s gone for good.

I bet that's a shockGrin
I'm pretty sure he is not soming back. I hope!

lazarusb · 05/03/2024 19:20

No wonder Rich is getting married again - he's got to snap up any woman that gives him a second look quickly! He had no charisma as a character. I don't why Kirsty would be sad about it though, she was the one that called time on them after all.

Catching up late again.

I definitely remember this woman from Casualty.
The charity thing is very boring- and seems a very dull storyline considering they must have known things were coming to an end by this point.

Unless they have a big name guest star lined up for it. Well, a big name for Doctors. Like the surviving Chuckle brother or someone.

Paul Chuckle popped up in the Madame Blanc Mysteries!

EffortlessDistraction · 05/03/2024 22:59

I have a soft spot for Paul Chuckle, we've seen him in panto a couple of times since Barry died and he is very funny and comes across as really nice.

Raahh · 06/03/2024 09:35

It must have been hard for Paul after Barry died Effortless.

TheFifth I saw that! I like the Madame Blanc mysteries, daft, but easy watching- just my sort of thingGrin.

I've decided I would have liked a whole Joe Pasquale episode again. It was so bizarre.

Or they could have brought back all the now 'famous' people who started their careers on the show, as extras in the waiting room/drinking in the Icon.

Eddie Redmayne would probably have blown the whole series budget Grin.

So long as they haven't gone down the Holby route of killing off a very main character so the possiblilty of them ever coming back is impossible/buring thr Mill to the ground (bar 'it was a all a dream') then there might be the chance of a Channel 5 re-boot one day... like Home and Away or Neighbours Grin

EffortlessDistraction · 06/03/2024 11:50

@Raahh the first time we saw Paul C in panto he came back out at the end to speak to the audience and said it was the first show he'd done since Barry's death and that he really appreciated all the support from the audiences, it was very moving.

Well, I'm off work sick (streaming cold, I don't need a home visit Grin) so I'll be able to watch live again today

Raahh · 06/03/2024 13:45

I'm here live for the frist time this week- nearly wasn't.
I will be disappointed, won't I? Grin

Raahh · 06/03/2024 13:47

Kirsty is very touchy.

Raahh · 06/03/2024 13:50

Black forest gateau?

doctorsnoddy · 06/03/2024 13:51

I'm not sure Rumha was very helpful regarding the Black Forest gateau information

doctorsnoddy · 06/03/2024 13:52

It sounds like a lovely craving to be fair

Raahh · 06/03/2024 13:52

At least the kitchen looks like a more functional ome than usual, to be making gateaux in.

Still bigger than most Grin.

Raahh · 06/03/2024 13:55

With ds, my cravings were for licorice comfit sweets (could only find them in M and S at thr time). With DD1, it was watermelon (funnily enough, since she was 6, she has asked for a watermelon every Christmas.

I'm not really sure I had cravings with DD2.

MadisonAvenue · 06/03/2024 13:55

I‘m actually craving Black Forest gateau now.

She must make a mean BFG. Though why did she throw the last one away?

Raahh · 06/03/2024 13:56

This isn't about cake, is it?

And she needs to ditch the partner.

Raahh · 06/03/2024 13:58

How convenient that Rich has asked for a divorce, eh, leaving Kirsty free to do something new with her hair and flirt with Dave at the Icon Grin

Isn't it just? She's certain setting her cap at him!

And I forgot. Here now.

Raahh · 06/03/2024 14:02

Now I really want a good old fashioned gateau, with proper fresh big fat cherries on it.

So, the mum may have fibbed and bought the cake? And it could ruin a memory?

doctorsnoddy · 06/03/2024 14:03

That piece of information needs to be treated carefully

doctorsnoddy · 06/03/2024 14:04

He doesn't know where her mum is buried?

Raahh · 06/03/2024 14:04

Definitely.

LIZS · 06/03/2024 14:05

Poor Ellie not allowed to do anything alone. Nice kitchen though!

Raahh · 06/03/2024 14:05

I thought this auction was just happening in a church hall or something!
