I'd love Jaz to win. He's been so smart.
Even though Harry is a bit full of himself, I do also think he's a worthy winner. He's played the game really well.

MaggieFS · 26/01/2024 06:35

I don't think there was a magic trick mechanism, but going last helped his odds.

I think they should just have let them sort out the order amongst themselves.

That said, as with everybody, you can interpret his reaction both ways:

-as they all jumped on: he's a team player not running off with the money
-he's a traitor and knows he's in a stronger position to win the whole pot

ParsnipAndPoppy · 26/01/2024 06:53

I wonder if Harry and Andrew will take each other out tonight?? I guess it depends on who gets banished.

I think Evie will be banished.

I think they’ll then banish Jaz as a couple of people are unsure

Then it will be Mollie, Andrew and Harry.

Mollie will never vote for Harry and she voted for Andrew tonight.

Harry and Mollie will vote Andrew out.

Harry will win.

They should have murderer Jaz.

ClarasZoo · 26/01/2024 07:00

I know Harry went last and, as no one had yet picked the sword , at that point he had better odds. However the overall odds at the start of the game were the same weren’t they? After all someone could have picked the sword before Harry and he would never even have had a chance to pull one- pretty sure they all had the same odds… at the start…..

Ruminate2much · 26/01/2024 07:03

I don't mind at all if Mollie shares the win with Jaz. I'm going a bit against the grain here, but I feel very sympathetic towards Mollie. She's so young, a kid really, and I was very trusting of smooth-talking men at that age. I actually worry about her wellbeing when she discovers she's been so used and hoodwinked by someone she trusted completely. She'll probably need some money to pay for the therapy.
She also seems very kind and sweet. I disagree that she hasn't contributed. She contributed to the missions, and was all about the team. She's also been through a lot at such a young age.
I know she's not been great at finding traitors! But then, none of them have, apart from Jaz!
I think Evie is very likely to be banished next. So, I'm still wanting Jaz to win, and totally fine for Mollie to be an associate beneficiary.

GoldLash · 26/01/2024 07:05

I'd have kept the £7 K

I think most people would and the other contestants wouldn't really have held it against anyone because you have no idea if you'll get to the end or not

It was very noble of Harry to do that but that's because he thinks is he will win

No one else think they definitely might do they'd have kept it

Harry will get to the end and win something

I do have a little crush on Harry though

GoldLash · 26/01/2024 07:07

I adore Molly and really like Andrew

I hope following this show they go on to start the businesses they were talking about and get some some investment as they are well know enough to be the face of their business

Look up the Monty Hall problem...I think you'll like it!

GoldLash · 26/01/2024 07:10

Evie out next

Then jaz

Then Mollie

I don't think Harry and Andrew want to fuck each other over

But they might have to go with the majority to keep themselves in because Jaz and Molly might go for Andrew

happinessischocolate · 26/01/2024 07:11

Hopefully Jaz just needs to say to Mollie you and Harry are Hannah and Wilf all over again. Might take her blinkers off.

I think Mollie voting for Andrew was due to Harry planting seeds 🧐

If Harry doesn't win then I'm not sure there's any point of another season. If Harry can't win with his devious plotting then no one can.

He's even managed to rein in the arrogance that went a bit haywire after getting Paul out. He's really toned down again.

ProperSleep · 26/01/2024 07:15

Isn’t it the case that the weakest players are the strongest?

Until the very last stage of the game, catching traitors or contributing to the prize fund or being entertaining are not the point - the superpower is not looking like a traitor. Getting to the end. So far Mollie and Evie are better players than all the bright sparks who’ve been ousted …

I respectfully disagree with your view that there's no point if Harry doesn't win. The odds are actually very heavily stacked in the traitors' favour. I think Jaz has kept his cards close to his chest, but could show his hand at the eleventh hour (Oh I hope so!) in which case he'll have played a brilliant strategic game, and it'll be a very fair win, against the odds.

I agree, if Harry doesn't win then I don't think any traitor will. He's been v.good as a traitor, although I think he made an error murdering Zack, I would have murdered Jaz instead.

WatchOutMissMarpleIsAbout · 26/01/2024 07:21

I’m sure others have said but the game is weighed towards the traitors that it seems so unfair. But we still love it anyway. Another series they have to try and rectify I think.

True, but not much use if you stay away in with a traitor to the end 🤷‍♀️

Jaz has played a good game, suspicious from the start but when he realised no one would listen he shut up and became Harry's mate. He's played it so well. Nobody votes for him anymore but he was mentioned so much in the beginning.

I just dont want another ending like last year, it totally ruined it for me. Kieran was the equivalent of someone having a tantrum and chucking the monopoly board in the air when they can't win. So glad to see he hasn't been on uncloaked or ever been on tv again

I think traitors won most of the international versions. It's much more common, and statistically much more likely. If the faithfuls win tonight, especially Jaz, it'll be a fair and square win. Jaz totally deserves it.

I didn’t follow last year - was he not allowed on any media, did he actually get the cash?

Willmafrockfit · 26/01/2024 07:23

yes i am also concerned about molly, so trusting

Willmafrockfit · 26/01/2024 07:26

Kieran was banished @ParsnipAndPoppy and Wilf was outed but there were tears

PuppyMonkey · 26/01/2024 07:26

I’m still holding out for the dramatic twist of Mollie hoodwinking us all and revealing she knew Harry was a traitor all along and she’ll boot him out tonight. Grin

The Faithfuls won last year.

happinessischocolate · 26/01/2024 07:30

@ParsnipAndPoppy

Kieran got recruited late and then banished same as Ross but had a tantrum and basically outed Wilf (Harry) when he left

The odds are so heavily stacked in the Traitors' favour that I can't accept the "deserves to win because he played so well and worked so hard" line. Faithfuls need to play and work five times better and harder and they're still never on an even playing field. We always knew Traitor odds were better, of course, but this series is really hammering home just how much so. How well would Harry have done as a Faithful? Would he have "deserved" to win for playing?

It's actually started to annoy me just how unfair it is, so I think this may be my last season. Great concept, good TV but I think I've had enough after this. I'm also starting to worry a bit about the effect on people who get betrayed. I assume they're screened psychologically but still. And the funeral was great TV, great theatre, but that made me uneasy too.

Stowickthevast · 26/01/2024 07:37

Statistically over all the series, traitors are more likely to win.

Harry has played well but he's been helped by Paul and the shield decision may still come back to bite him.

I was so relieved they didn't murder Jaz last night - he's never mentioned to Harry that he is suspicious of him so has totally flown under the radar.

I also wondered whether someone had had a word with Harry and told him to look more compassionate. It fits in with the Paul the villain, but Harry the brilliant apprentice story arc if Harry is more divided about his choices. But maybe he genuinely is feeling bad and the stress is getting to him.

My perfect scenario tonight would be that Andrew, Jaz and Evie realise during the day that it is Harry and vote him out first. Then they somehow realise Andrew is also implicated and the remaining faithful vote him out leaving Jaz, Evie & Mollie with the money.

More likely, Evie is banished first. Harry turns on Andrew, they need to get another traitor out, I'm sure Jaz at least knows there'll be at least one traitor left as if it gets to one they have to recruit.

Not sure how a Jaz/Andrew Vs Mollie/Harry impasse will go though. It's why they really need to get out Harry first!

NCADHD · 26/01/2024 07:39

They missed a trick with that magic sword stunt, nobody at that stage would have taken the 7k unless they were damn sure they were a goner (jasmine).
What would have been an amazing stunt is whoever pulls the sword must immediately and single handedly banish somebody.
