DH and I were discussing this today, we think that Jennifer has every right to be absolutely pissed off with Brian, but.... Rory (I know it's not the right spelling) IS his son and he IS doing the right thing. She should just accept it.

LittleBella · 16/03/2008 20:06

I think Adam is ghastly. And Debbie. She's got every right to be pissed off with Brian in general, but not for wanting to leave some of his money to his son. And the threat to withdraw affection/ love from Ruaridh - horrible.

And the lovely storyline about how Emmurrrrrr has to send her son to be in the clutches of that ghastly Nick - lovely!

The Archers is really getting interesting again after all that dull bio-fuel stuff...

It's so good isn't it? I didn't quite believe Susan's response, she's such a busybody, I'm sure she'd think that Nick was no better than she should be.

I think Ed should tell Clarrie...

i am very hopeful that we will get rid of adam and mr adam. bring back jean-paul!

LittleBella · 16/03/2008 20:33

I quite like Ian. Apart from Lilian, he's the only one in the Archers who isn't completely vile or annoying. Oh and maybe Kenton...

OP posts:
sushistar · 16/03/2008 20:35

Kenton's a twerp!

fishie · 16/03/2008 20:37

oh lb he is terrible. they all are, that is the point of it.

they've never known quite what to do with him anyway, remember that ridiculous storyline about him wanting to get his friend pg, then massivo hints he and adam would take rrugugiggh in. and now he is skipping about making pasties instead of angsting about his lack of offspring. he didn't even care when the lamb karked it!

spicemonster · 16/03/2008 20:37

Kenton's dreadful! All the Archers are dreadful - the lot of them.

Except for Lillian of course

CatIsSleepy · 16/03/2008 20:39

will is the most vile
roy is running him a close second at the moment

LittleBella · 16/03/2008 20:41

I love the way they're turning Will into a monster

CatIsSleepy · 16/03/2008 20:41

I haven't heard enough episodes recently to know how bad nick is being to george
is she being very mean?

CatIsSleepy · 16/03/2008 20:43

will's been monstrous for a while hasn't he? god i hate his voice so much...

sophiewd · 16/03/2008 20:43

But would Brine have left some of the farm to the Rugrat if shivorn was still alive?

LittleBella · 16/03/2008 20:43

Yes but it's quite cleverly done because it's just bits and bobs, so could be explained as normal

OP posts:
CatIsSleepy · 16/03/2008 20:49

yes i can't work out if she really is a baddy or not
agree with lapin, will has had the Seeds of Doubt sown in his mind by Ed. goody

NorthernLurker · 16/03/2008 20:50

I heard Fridays episode - the way Nic was explaining what she had been doing with George really gave me the creeps. I think she wants the house and the cash, not too fussed about Will and definately not keen on the stepson!

katierocket · 16/03/2008 20:51

You know what I love about the archers? even if I don't hear it for days, I can still switch it on and love it (and have a vague idea of what is going on).

fishie · 16/03/2008 20:51

i remember clarrie shouting "willyum grundy" all round ambridge, he was a very naughty boy. dull as a cowpat these days. archers needs more eccentric characters, this lot are awfully dull.

spicemonster · 16/03/2008 20:52

nic's evil. clarrie knew it from the word go

scanner · 16/03/2008 20:52

I like Will - a little dull, but a good catch.

LittleBella · 16/03/2008 20:53

He is horrible

I also didn't believe the will storyline. No-one is so stupid as to draft a will like that

blackrock · 16/03/2008 20:54

DH listens to it all the time. I only listen in, when the story line gets a little more interesting. Some great ones right now.

Poor Emma! I know she's brought most of the difficult relationship scenarios on herself, but I couldn't leave my child with someone i suspected of being sneaky/underhand. Poor George, Nick is really not coping!

CatIsSleepy · 16/03/2008 20:55

me too katie, I hardly ever manage to listen to a whole episode these days let alone the omnibus (though i did some of it today)...but it doesn't seem to make much difference!
nice, slow-burning storylines, tis good
