Points taken about Sam and his laughter, I don't dislike the guy I just wondered. It makes me sad if he feels he needs to laugh it off if he feels uncomfortable.

This. Anyone would think Nella murdered a camp mate with her own bare hands the amount of vitriol directed at her, it’s just a TV show 😅

It is just a TV show, but her personality is so awful that she has become the topic of conversation.
The 'girl' is so irritating and unlikeable that people
are bound to comment on her.
She will want publicity for being in there -
I just think she has such little self awareness that she may be shocked that the publicity is mostly negative 🤷‍♀️

Nella is just vile. And sadly Danielle has also become like her. If I was fred I would leave the cooking totally and let them get on with it. Spatchcock was easy, let's see how they get on when it's not so easy.

Nella is hugely funny, kind and charismatic.

God what a change in everyone tonight. Seems they can't keep up the nicey nicey pretence. Nella still a pain in the hole, how the hell did they vote her leader ! Josie very bitchy tonight and Danielle too.

I can understand Fred and that he wants to do the cooking, it's the same every year, one person does the cooking and the minute a different person does it they feel they want to offer advice as they've cooked over the fire plus he's got so much experience around food, I did want to tell him to sit down. Convenient that a chicken was sent in, wonder if it was a mn chicken. All it was short was the supermarket label.

I just don't have a favourite, I usually have by now, Nick is actually funny when he's shown but the edits are the same people, Tony is very funny, it's he counting when Sam jumps his bones, it looks like it.

Has Any and Dec's writers changed ? Wish they'd just be themselves and do their own banter.

I'm a bit as to why Tony got voted to do the trial

Maybe because he's obviously a bit uncomfortable around critters and is a boxer but definitely not because he's unpopular

I love how he deals with Sam. I don't know why but his reactions to Sam jumping on him with excitement tickle me.

Fred will realise there's no point in being kind and helpful re cooking and will have to let them fuck it up for themselves and waste decent stock making opportunities and the like much to everyone's frustration.

Lots of hate for Nella still. Urgh.

He got voted to do the trial because he has to enter into a snake's mouth, and he's terrified of them

Tony to win, Nick needs more airtime, I would like to see him in top three but sadly he may go first. Josie and Danielle who I did think were winners are showing what they are like now and it isn't so nice.

Usually by now I can pick my 4 for cyclone but difficult this time, would Nigel and Nella maybe be exempt from it anyway, though they will probably be gone by then, Nigel will probably end up in the middle, and hopefully Nella out asap

Overall, it's been rubbish this year. There's a marked shift in attitude in the production, hyper focus on welfare and behaviour (ITV hasn't had a good year in that respect).
Ant and Dec feel sanitised, I've never known them to be so navel gazey about the camp mates (they're verging on simpering at times). And it's not necessary, they were never cruel, they were always the right side of wicked.

These camp mates are all very social media savvy, and I think the divisiveness you get on social media (and the tendency towards everything left leaning = good / anything not left leaning = bad) is probably on their minds.
Nella, whose career is social media, epitomises it. In theory, she's a self righteous, principled ideologist. In practice, she's an arrogant, selfish twat. They're all tip toeing round her, even though she couldn't give a toss about the 'team', or anyone else's feelings - only her own feelings matter.

It's been such an oppressive and depressing camp this year, its little wonder a couple of them have sloped off early.

I hope Nella is out first. Ive not liked her since the start. Then Farage please. I think Danielle and Frankie will be out soon too.

My favourites so far are Sam, Tony, Nick and Marvin.

I wouldn't vote for him in a general election, but Farage is hardly obnoxious.

I’ve gone off everyone I liked before - Fred, Josie and Danielle - and the people I like now - Tony and Nick - are responsible for Queen Nella! To be fair on Fred, I thought he was over the top about the washing up, but now Nella has said that there was rice left stuck to plates, he really did have a point.

Tony is my winner, same second and Nick third. I can see Nella going out first (thankfully) Nigel and Frankie are also pretty dull so they won't be far behind her. Fred is simmering.. he's far too much of a gentleman to give it back to Nella. Poor Tony is counting to ten every time Sam jumps him for a hug 😆 he deserves the crown for that alone bless him.

Exactly. There's SO much unseen. I think Josie will be very open about it when out. Although could lose her job I suppose if she did? Didn't they used to have a 24 hour show years ago? You could spy anytime?

I imagine Fred is used to everyone doing as they're told. And I remember him being weirdly uncaring when Gino and/or Gordon crashed on their show. It was bad and he was just worried about winning.

Nella admitted there was rice left stuck to a plate after they’d done the washing up but couldn’t understand why Fred and Nigel insisted they needed washed again. Nella, Josie and Danielle thought it was fine to leave the dishes lying out instead of putting them away overnight in the storage box out of reach of vermin. They knew rats then came in to the camp overnight. But still the 3 of them were too thick to understand their laziness had created a serious hygiene risk and are now taking it out on Fred.

The vitriol for Nella is breathtaking. The language spoken about her is awful.

She fucked up at the start with Fred, I won’t deny that.

But even if you really, really hate her, does it not give you pause to think about how well liked she is by those who live with her? Do you not reflect for even half a second that your take on her could be wrong??

Tony, Nick and Marvin are clearly all really awesome, kind people. They all voted Nella for leader. Please don’t tell me she bullied them into it, or that they’re so stupid she manipulated them 🙄 please. They like her. They’re good people. How do you square that with your views about her all round terribleness?

Everyone found it funny that Nella put Fred and Nigel on washing up duty because they had seen the way those two behaved to her and Josie.

It’s kind of binary here. You’re either team Farage/Fred or team Nick/Tony/Marvin/Danielle/Josie/Nella. I know which team better reflects my values. And I would be taking a long hard look at myself if my hatred of Nella meant that I preferred Farage/Fred.
