Medically exempt annoys me

They are being paid thousands of pounds

If they are not fit enough for the series and do the trials they shouldn't be in it

CapitalKnockers · 22/11/2023 13:25

As a comparison to the Nella issue, I have a colleague who lost their much-beloved Nan 3 weeks ago, for whom they were the carer and have been for years. Since their Nan died, this colleague has become noticeably difficult with the rest of the team, to the point where it is damaging their relationships with the team and causing a horrible work environment for everyone. Management have decided it is best that this colleague be signed off work for a period, and get some support. That is how you manage this kind of situation. But then in Nella's case having her leave on compassionate grounds, if that's what's needed, doesn't make good tv.

I'm giving her a massive benefit of the doubt too that she isn't just manipulating the whole thing.

Blondeshavemorefun · 22/11/2023 13:50

Nella totally over reaacted

She is 26. Fred is 51 so could easily have been her dad is what he meant

As in could have had her at 24

Dartmoorcheffy · 21/11/2023 23:15

Nella is everything that is wrong with so many of her generation. Always playing the triggered and offended cards. Full of her own inflated ego thinking that she's a big celebrity. She's not even a legend in her own lunchtime, and when she reads the posts on her twitter feed she might just see what a fucking idiot she is. I really hope she goes first.

I completely agree and I'm not much older than her!

She comes across absolutely terribly. Attention-seeking and wanting the limelight despite having zero actual talent. Her screeching was doing my head in and demanding Nigel do countdowns for her in the eating trial was so OTT, it was clear she's a total drama llama.

Then the thing with Fred. Playing the victim, feeling "triggered". He did absolutely nothing wrong apart from say he's old enough to be her dad. Which he is and it's an expression. You could see he was totally blindsided and he tried to apologise but she just kept going and going. I'm amazed he managed not to totally laugh in her face it was the most OTT ridiculous reaction. And ignoring him when he was speaking to her.....like a toddler.

She isn't "just a girl." She is a grown adult woman, clearly she hadn't learned to behave like one.

Blondeshavemorefun · 22/11/2023 14:02

She annoyed me anyway with her shrieking plus she isn't a celeb to me so I don't care if she is voted off first

ThreeRingCircus · 22/11/2023 14:02

whynotwhatknot · 22/11/2023 12:26

she was very calcuated like i said didnt say anything straight away went to bed then decided to bring it up a mature person would have saidx ok i misunderstood

shes quite childish-weve all lost someone its not excuse to make out there was harmful intent

She didn't misunderstand though. Fred was talking about his eyesight and made the comment that he's old enough to be her dad. She replied "Nah my dad was way older than you." So she understood perfectly clearly what he'd meant.

Then the next day she made a big song and dance over how offended and upset she was. It was clearly deliberately calculated and designed to get her air time. Unfortunately for her it seems to have backfired.

ilovebrie8 · 22/11/2023 14:06

@ThreeRingCircus brilliant post and spot on...her sense of entitlement and her aggressive attitude is quite staggering!

One good thing and it was mentioned on TV at lunch time is that it was all recorded word for word so she can't play a game he said, she said...

She needs to disappear off our screens...way too much pandering and excusing bad behaviour...tbh I think they should just remove her forthwith and not pay her as that was nasty.

Lampzade · 22/11/2023 14:13

CeeChynaa · 22/11/2023 09:52

Exactly. I disagree with her reaction and how she went about things but peoples responses on here and on SM are absolutely shocking. I’ve seen people fat shaming her, calling her a ‘fucking idiot’ as if her reaction has deserved such a harsh response. People are also bringing race into it like a comment on this thread, it’s all so unnecessary.

Comparing her to Roxanne is just next level

Edited

Her reaction was over the top and she was very rude. However,’the pile on is disgraceful.
Some idiots using this as an excuse to fat shame and to be racist against black people

Lampzade · 22/11/2023 14:14

FrancisSeaton · 22/11/2023 07:54

I just can't believe she seems to love 'Faraaaggggee' who is is blatant bigot yet comes for one of the most tolerant and accepting people you could meet

Agree

funbags3 · 22/11/2023 14:20

Nella and Spears should never have gone in there. Both seem to have mental health problems that being on a show like this will make worse, especially when they see the backlash on social media.

TrishIsMySpiritAnimal · 22/11/2023 14:22

I haven’t seen any fat shaming or racism??? Unless I missed some posts

Yep, I agree with you! She was rude and came across really badly.

The reaction on social media has been abhorrent. I’ve seen so many comments tearing apart her looks and racist comments as you’ve mentioned. I just had to come off of social media but it’s really nasty things that I’m reading

ThreeRingCircus · 22/11/2023 15:07

I haven't seen any comments about her skin colour or her weight but that's obviously dreadful and unacceptable.

The only comments I've seen have been focused how she has behaved rather than what she looks like and I think it's justified. She was essentially trying to gaslight the campmates and audience into believing that Fred said something that he did not. Luckily it's all recorded as a PP said.

I thought her behaviour on last night's episode was toxic. We need to be calling people out when we see this sort of behaviour. It is not acceptable to weaponise your trauma to paint someone else as being in the wrong and yourself as being a victim when that isn't the reality. She behaved really, really badly.

This.

Nella is so irritating, is Sam happy about everything ? Where is Josie getting all the make up from ?

Lunde · 22/11/2023 15:44

I'm hoping that it will do Jamie Lynn some good to get out of camp - even if it is to do a trial.

She is one of very few that hasn't been out of camp at all and it can't help to just sit around brooding all day

emmaw1405 · 22/11/2023 15:47

There is a video of Nella talking about someone she's flirting with where she calls him Daddy numerous times and the girl interviewing her says Father. They're both laughing and joking so is she picking and choosing when she's offended or being triggered?

Inkanta · 22/11/2023 15:51

Yes annoys me too. Is Nella exempt?

There’s a photo on her Instagram where she called her partner? Daddy too.

It’s clearly part of her game plan to find away to become the lovable victim but it’s back fired. Fred’s a sweetie and she’s loud snowflake “influencer”. She picked the wrong person to try and make her a victim, maybe Nigel would have been a better option.

There's a pile on because she treated someone like shit for no reason whatsoever
It's called the consequences of her own behaviour
I've not seen anything about her race or weight

JaneJeffer · 22/11/2023 16:27

Well she got what she wanted, everyone talking about her!

itsgettingweird · 22/11/2023 17:01

Loveinacandle · 21/11/2023 23:08

I don’t agree with Nella’s reaction at all but she was clearly triggered and still grieving. I don’t think she’s a bad person, she just made a mistake here. She wasn’t ride to him just direct and over reacted, but like my teenager when she’s misunderstood something I’ve said. Tbh, the show would be boring without her and the screaming so I hope she doesn’t go!

Things is - she was rude to him. When he was offering her rice and beans she turned her back on him and didn't answer. Totally blanked him. As punishment for a crime he didn't even know he'd committed.

I tell the school kids I work with it's rude to ignore people when they don't know why!

Blondeshavemorefun · 22/11/2023 17:08

@Inkanta I can't quote a quote but yes I think she was from the latest trial
