Dean isn't even a good baddie acting wise. His very one dimensional.

I do feel sorry for L and ( I've no doubt ) this recording will be used against her big time :(
Last year it was Janine and her antics and now it's him. Loathsome story and character

I'm well used to batshit crazy Eastenders storylines, but I don't like the Linda/Dean one. It's daft.

I hate and put it off I was horrified! I know that's dramatic but it's how I felt.

I hope the writers read this thread or Facebook and realize how unpopular this storyline is
Trouble is, it's bound to be used against her and how will she ever prove now that he did what he did ?
Unless he goes for someone else and it's witnessed , he'll always have that recording of her saying what she did :(

I agree with you. I sort of get what EE are trying to do, but it’s a sensitive storyline and I don’t think they’re necessarily handling it well, having Dean recording her, Linda getting upset and saying/doing things she doesn’t mean. It doesn’t sit well with me at all.

Neither does the Stacey/Theo one sit well with me, but at least hopefully he will get his comeuppance.

@Mrsjayy I agree with you. It’s really not comfortable viewing at all. I get EE need/want to keep viewers hooked but at what cost?

The easiest thing for evil Dean to do now would probably be to sue Linda for libel/defemation as his business has been affected and he has lost earnings. The recording would be evidence. I think he could well be awarded substantial damages. The flyer idea was stupid even by EE standards.

I know it is all for the Christmas storyline but it is so unnecessary and damaging.

Unfortunately, I did read in my tv guide that Stacey tries to broker a deal with Theo or something. I'm vague on the actual story, but it doesn't sound great
I do hope that maybe Dean tries it on , but this time his caught red handed and has to delete the recording
I agree that he could sue for defamation of character and has the flyer as evidence, but I'm hopeful that this won't happen and he is taken out or arrested or something!

@Bunionbabe the flyer idea was stupid. What’s unwise of EE is a vendetta campaign is the exact idea that an unhinged viewer may well copy, including the fliers. Let’s hope not eh.

Pointless bringing back Dean. Producer must fancy him.

Like I said before, I think they’ve only brought him back to give Kellie Bright / Linda a story, but it’s a crap and ludicrous one.

I can’t get invested in the Suki and Eve story since we know Suki is one of the Walford Six so will be hanging around until at least Christmas.

So Malcolm made an appearance today at the party…Karen is probably going to leave in the next few weeks when it all comes out. I predict Phil will tell her to bugger off after she takes the blame for the fake kidnapping.

Looked like Stacey put on lipstick to meet Theo? Odd.

I did read that Karen pays a big bar bill this week and I think she tells Mitch the truth about the kidnapping. So already starting to spend the money ?
At the back pages on this weeks tv guide I buy , it mentions that Phil tells Sharon something she isn't expecting?? No idea what that can be

I watched and was expecting Priya to confront Suki about Eve, I am gutted she didn't find out about them first.
I also thought she may have caught them chatting or something and immediately worked it out, but nope, stupid writers missed a trick there.
Would have been more interesting to watch.

I have a hunch that Nish knows about her running off. She can't be going for long as she is one sixth of the six
I hope he doesn't kill Eve :(
