EE is 39 years old in February, but it's not as old as Corrie which started early in the 60s or something
Phil being tapped for money ( again)! Maybe Jeremy Hunt should ask him to bail out the Government? Lol
Nice to see Sam M back , but it's the same old story with her and when she was with Don ( Liz's ex out of Motherland !)

Next week, Karen starts spending the 50K of Phil’s money. I doubt this will end well!

Omg is it? I can remember the first episode. Coronation Street is one of the first programmes I can remember watching but I stopped watching it a few years ago.

I read that Stacey has a run in with Theo next week at the court

I mean it was only a matter of time,@ I see Bailey popped into the living room last week said she was going to a midweek sleepover then left, bet they are reading the Internet about "missing children: 😄

Ooh I think Ian could be cufflinks man! He’s completely gone back to his weasel ways!

I just finished tonight’s episode and I must say I’m really not enjoying this arc of ‘the 6’. There’s just too much misogyny on the show. Ever since the Chantelle storyline I’ve felt like Eastenders seems to revel a bit too much in misogynistic storylines with violence against women, emotional abuse, financial abuse, coercive control etc. All the 6 are victims of some kind of misogyny:

• Sharon (coercive control from Keanu. He seems dim but when you analyse his behaviour it is actually very abusive - trying to steal her money to pay off Lisa to get access to his daughter Peggy, then gaslighting her when she tried to get a prenuptial agreement by saying she didn’t trust him when he is in fact not trustworthy, kidnapping her son for ransom while pretending to support her to manipulate her feelings and maintain a position of control in her life).
• Cathy (financial abuse and fraud from Rocky who keeps stealing her money, lying to her and has now destroyed her livelihood. He also gambled away their honeymoon, failed to disclose he was still married and encouraged her to use her money to pay off his ex wife. And his relationship with her was based on a false identity to begin with).
• Stacey (stalking and attempted rape from Theo, who got into her life by grooming her 12 year old daughter).
• Linda (rape from Dean, who is now gaslighting her and trying to maintain a sense of control by blackmailing her into ruining her credibility by retracting her version of the story, even though she is the one telling the truth).
• Suki (physical and emotional abuse from her narcissistic husband Nish, who actually murdered a friend of hers and orchestrated things to get her oldest son Kheerat imprisoned for another murder when he got back from prison because he felt insecure about his position in the family.
• Denise (blackmail from Ravi - who has probably been more abusive to Suki than he has been to Denise come to think of it since he framed her for murder). Denise is probably the least affected of all the 6 by all the abuse so far.

I get the show runners are trying to raise awareness about these issues but it’s getting so painful to watch women being relentlessly dumped on!

he's repulsive isn't he I have no idea what women see in Ian, although I think Cindy was just desperate.

Ian has been married to /engaged to/involved with some of Walfords nicest looking ( even though they're not the nicest people) women on Eastenders .

He must have some redeeming qualities .
He can cook.................

I agree that women are very badly portrayed on EE and get the blunt end of the stick from men at every opportunity
Now we have Dean asking L to lie to make him look good :(

Is it just me or does there seem to be some thing brewing between Linda and George? 🤔

I've also wondered if George and Linda are getting close. Tbf I don't buy him and Linda's mum as a couple at all.

Why does Dean believe he didn't rape Linda? I can't recall exactly the details but I remember watching it being quite distressing and forceful!? Is it just Dean being a rapist psychopath who thinks everyone fancies him and believes his own version of sick events?

Bloody hope it's Dean dead at Xmas and I hope it's gruesome!

Oh my god ! What an awful storyline for Linda :(
Mick believed her straight away too , now , if he ever comes back , he'll get to hear about all this! Not to mention everyone else as well !
She'll end up back on the wine as people will shun her! What a snake Dean is

Yes, I believe so.... but Ian and Cindy have been far too busy visiting Dean and launching the Pie and Mash shop to bother with Peter now its clear he's not a goner! 😂

I know it’s a soap but that was out of character for Linda to give into Dean.

Considering Linda once recorded Stuart confessing to something quite big concerning Mick , she should have just thought! She was under pressure though :(

I also would have thought Linda would think Dean was pretending to turn his phone off while actually recording her but she was very nervous. Poor Linda, I did feel sorry for her tonight.

I agree with you. I was on board with the storylining for The Six up to a point (I like the flash-forward idea). But this latest development with Dean coercing Linda into lying has taken it too far, we are being asked to watch a rapist torturing his victim. I don't normally mind EE being a miseryfest but there are limits, I'm going to stop watching for a while.
