Having a read of my Christmas tv guide and the side bar of soap updates and something caught my eye : Lauren and Penny are in Paris and they hear about what's happened at home on New Year's Day
We know they are coming back into it.

Could the corpse be .. Jack ?
Lauren's uncle and penny's dad?
Be awful for Amy , but strange it's those two mentioned and they are related
Unless they just fancy a visit because it's all kicked off ?

New Year's Day? So is there something major happening as well as the cufflinks murder on Christmas Day?

I need to get a TV listings magazine but the Radio Times is so expensive (£5.50).

It's only from the 23rd up to 5th Jan
I like it as it has a day by day run down of the soaps ( not that I watch any other ones)
George finds out his adopted too and turns to Cindy for some help

After all the anticipation I don't want find out it's Shrimpy!

Nah, shrimps will probably be about to play a jaunty Christmas tune on the piano prior to the death scenes / misery

At least Lexi and Jay and Ben are back by then , I was wondering where they were

We won't even know who the dead person is by Christmas night : you can lay money on it being Boxing Day before it's finally revealed. Just an hour of build up
Still , it's exciting.

Why can't EE employ teenage actors? Is there a shortage of them or something because the actress playing 14 year old age looks closer to 30 than she does 15.

Is Gina going to hook up with Dean?

I've read this morning that Suki finds out this week/next that Nish knows about her affair with Eve and suspects that he's murdered her. So she sends Vinny out for the evening and plans her revenge on Nish with Stacey trying to talk her out of it...

Motive for 2 of the women to kill one of the suspects to be cufflinks man

I think the teenagers are played by teenagers except Pryias Dd who probably isn't hers or a teenager

I'm so behind with my catching up I need to get them watched before Christmas!

Oh god no , not Dean and Gina ;(
Maybe he'll try it on with her and Linda kill's him
I've not seen it today yet , but I did read that they might start dating on Facebook

Oh yes, I forgot about Amy, Nugget and a couple of others who look like the ages of the characters they play.

I remember Christopher Fairbank from Auf Wiedersehen, Pet in the 80s. He's only nine years older than Colin Salmon.

aww I saw that George's parents were coming into it.

Meant to say that:

yes she does look older.

How can they cast a man only nine years older than George is? Ridiculous

I seem to remember Sean Connery was only 12 years older than Harrison Ford and they had to try and make sure he had lots of tweed to age him in Last Crusade when they played father and son

Similar age difference between Frasier and his dad on the sitcom in real life.

Seems to be done a lot.

But I agree 9 years is pushing it!

She'll hear her mum being vilified and Sharon going on about the wedding etc , but still keep quiet ? I don't buy it tbh

I think Bernie might give Sharon an anonymous tip off about Keanu. Probably on the morning of the wedding!

Poor L in today’s episode. At the moment I think Dean is the front runner. He is proper slimy.

With regards to Eve, they didn’t do that thing in Digital Spy where they say the actress is leaving for good. So hopefully she is back soon.

Eve also didn't get a "whatever her name is" theme

Dean played the recording in today’s episode. I think Elaine got an easy ride from Linda and George - it was her idea for Linda to tell Dean what he wanted to hear.

There’s been complaints about this story so I did think they’d change it at the last minute, then again I suppose it would have been a headache from a logistical perspective.

Oh poor Linda ;(
They should have changed this story ( or done something different at least )
