I have googled - She had a boyfriend on the outside but they obviously fancied each other. Nothing big happened in the house but they got together in the real world afterwards. Gives Jenry a run for their money.

There was a will they/won’t they romance in season 2 - was it Helen and Paul?

Helen. I like blinking, I do.

Trish and bb have issued a statement on the tweets. This is from daily fail:
’ A spokesperson for Big Brother told The Sun of the investigation: 'This weekend, we have been made aware of concerning historical tweets.
'We are currently looking into why they were not identified by the independent supplier we engage to review the digital footprint of potential Housemates as part of our pre-checks.'
MailOnline has contacted ITV for comment on the matter.
Trish broke her silence after the scandal on Sunday morning, posting an apology statement to her social media feed.
The ex housemate said: 'I'm aware that some very concerning old tweets of mine have re-surfaced, and I would like to sincerely apologise for the harmful stereotypes I perpetuated and the pain I have caused to the marginalised communities and groups of people mentioned.
'There are no excuses for the ignorance that I showed and I am deeply disappointed, embarrassed and ashamed that I once made such comments. I have come a very long way since by educating myself and being educated by others on the impact and harm those views cause.'
The comments were especially impactful to viewers as Trish accused the other housemates of micro-aggressions during her time in the house.
She added in the statement: 'It is part of the reason why I am so passionate about standing up for others and holding myself to a high standard of responsibility and accountability for my actions.’

Series 5 was bloody epic. Anyone else remember Ahmed trying to "do a military coup"? Hilarious.

And Nadia's short temper when she didn't get enough cigarettes? And how she was "fumigating". I often use that phrase, and not many people know what I'm on about, so I get very odd looks.

And Shell, cutting the grass in the nude?

And Kitten being evicted but refusing to leave the house. All the other HMs were backing her - until BB showed a countdown of the prize money reducing for every minute she stayed, and then they couldn't get her out quick enough!

So many memorable moments.

I am really shocked and saddened to read all the stuff about Trish. I took her at face value in the house (and why wouldn't we) and reading some of those Tweets is really uncomfortable. I really felt she was set for a stellar TV career, but I don't think any amount of apologies from her can salvage that now.

Love all this talk of past series.

Rich/ poor divide in series 3 was so funny. I liked the secret room in series 7 too.

Grin that was classic

I loved the old series back in the day, Helen with her funny sayings, jade was just iconic , Alison breaking the table, the rich and poor side, Alex behind the door. Sandy escaping , Darren and Marjorie. Kinga and the wine bottle, Nikki and her rants , Pete and his tourettes, Glynn cooking his egg for the very first time wahooo, and brian dowling who was the best

ThisUsernameIsNotAvailablePlsTryAnother · 12/11/2023 19:53

I'm honestly ridiculously excited to start on series 5 😅 I can't wait for this one to end so I can get started lol!

I just googled kitten refusing to leave! Wth was going on that year, it had everything!! Hearing the antics, I feel like BB wont ever recreate that magic or reach those heights again, but you never know!

Oh god not Kinga and the wine bottle 😳

Nasty Mick getting booted out Michelle murdering Pie Jesu. No naked Jacuzzi! So many great moments.

I think Matty wailing from this series is up there for me.

TheHappiestChristmasTree · 12/11/2023 20:00

'Bubble, hold me!'

Sweetaschocolate · 12/11/2023 20:02

And not to mention the cbb, when the American couple was on?
They where a right nasty pair esp him.
And when Roxanne made out Ryan really hurt her?
Also when David Bowies wife was in and she was told he died.
She came out and told a HM and as there
was a David all ready in the house she was hysterical and told the rest of the housemates that David had died.

TrishIsMySpiritAnimal · 12/11/2023 20:04

my face CBB moment “Yeah, Brackie”

Brilliant.

The French and Saunders piss take is the stuff of legends

The David’s Dead debacle was TV disaster perfection. The fact the only person who could set the record straight as everyone ran round screaming was in the shower, just added to the hilarity. The fact they actually pulled the covers back to see if Big Brother had left a dead body in the bed 🤣🤣🤣

I did a big post before about how interviews should be kind and there should be perspective. I make an exception for Roxanne Pallett. What she did was despicable. I’m not surprised though - my DH went out with her when they were teenagers. He always said there is something evil about her

MrTiddlesTheCat · 12/11/2023 20:13

'David's dead' is without doubt my all time favourite BB event. My bestie lives in Australia now and whenever one of us is feeling down the other sends that clip. Absolutely cracks us up every time.

Yeah, Brackie!! Loved it!

HurdyGurdy19 · 12/11/2023 20:18

Kinga and the wine bottle

I won't ever get that out of my head, but my favourite memory of Kinga was her trying to get onto the Mechanical Bull. It was hilarious. I've never been able to find a clip about it, because the only thing that comes up when you do a search is that bloody wine bottle.

chutneysauce · 12/11/2023 20:18

David is dead is also my favourite moment ever. I watched it live at the time and I couldn't stop laughing!! I recently showed the clip to a colleague and she cracked up too! It's just too funny

There’s so much to unpack with David’s Dead.

The fact they thought BB left a dead body in the bedroom and only told Angie 🤣

The fact they STILL thought Angie was winding Tiffany up after it had all been explained.

The demented pigtails in Angie’s hair.

Poor David Gest feeling a bit ill and then being checked on for his mortality 😂

The fact Daniela Westbrook said “David Bowie ain’t ded eeeevar” despite Angie explaining he was.

Aquarius1234 · 12/11/2023 20:24

I'm 100% certain Jordan was asked to snog Henry.

TrishIsMySpiritAnimal · 12/11/2023 20:25

Oh @Aquarius1234 you cynical grump you 🤣

He could have said no 🤷‍♀️

EachandEveryone · 12/11/2023 20:26

Poor David Guest did die not that long after didn’t he? I was so upset about David Bowie and then I watched that live. It really was the old days. I wonder who will be in the new one?

dapsnotplimsolls · 12/11/2023 20:29

I stopped watching CBB when they just kept filling it with reality bods. I hope they'll have the sense to have a proper mix of people.

Ooooh . . . .

HUGE NEWS... The final week of Big Brother is set to be the most explosive yet
Right now the Housemates are making their first face-to-face nominations of the series, with the top three most nominated facing a shock IMMEDIATE Eviction. However, little do they know that instead of being sent straight home they will be sent to a secret Task Room to monitor the other Housemates and hear the fall-out from their 'shock departure'. You will then have the chance to vote to evict two of these Housemates, with the saved one RETURNING to the House to confront those that evicted them.
The battle for the £100K cash prize is well and truly on! Find out more tonight on Big Brother: Late & Live.
