I think Chanelle is a cert to go tonight, but can't call the other one apart from the fact that I think Noky is safe (she's too under the radar in this lot).

Jenkin is a very heavy smoker, and isn't allowed to have as many cigs as he wants

Ooh interesting!

Farida came up on my FYP doing a TikTok live the other day… 90% of the comments coming in were people asking who smokes or vapes in the house 😅 Sadly she completely ignored them for other questions.

Oh god the last couple of days every time I go on Tiktok far too often Kerry pops up doing lives! She was playing dumb yesterday saying she had no idea how to do anything but has seemingly quickly clocked on to promoting TT shop items and being gifted on lives etc.

HurdyGurdy19 · 10/11/2023 18:59

Thank you for the shiny new thread @TellingBone

I've been checking the clock every 10 minutes since I finished work at 2pm! The BB watcher's version of "are we nearly there yet" 😂

I'm really nervous. I can't get past all the Facebook posts demanding Trish to leave tonight. I really hope she survives.

I hope she gets a positive edit in tonight's show before the voting closes, although it would be better for her if it was a vote to save, and not a vote to evict.

Ibizabar · 10/11/2023 18:54

I have a horrible feeling Trish will go tonight. I'm not sure I will bother watching the final week if she does.

I have a different feeling and hope not, but likewise, I doubt I'll continue watching , not even just for Noky (or maybe). But if she does, it'll be absolutely ridiculous and a shocker

Ibizabar · 10/11/2023 19:06

I might watch it for Jordan though. I still have a soft spot for him

clappyjay · 10/11/2023 19:12

Same here! Without sounding rude I clicked on a few of the anti-Trish peoples profiles and it’s all the same type of person, can’t really explain but they all give out a certain vibe 🙈

JaneJeffer · 10/11/2023 19:13

I don't do FB but what is their reasoning apart from the obvious?

JaneJeffer · 10/11/2023 19:13

"She's aggressive", "she's in everyone's business", "lamb chops" 🙄, just the usual sheep-speak.

Thesearmsofmine · 10/11/2023 19:32

Finger crossed it’s bye bye to Chanelle and Jenkin. If Trish does go I think she will still have the last laugh and be the ultimate winner, she is intelligent and articulate and I can see her getting opportunities.

Rollergirl11 · 10/11/2023 19:33

Place marking for tonight. Unfortunately DH will want to watch a film tonight so will be watching later. I’ve enjoyed watching this series. I’ve had a rather unlikely viewing companion in 15yr old DS. It’s been really refreshing watching with him and it’s been good to have discussions with him on the treatment of Trish and the unacceptable behaviour of Dillon and Paul.

Allthecatsandcosyblankets · 10/11/2023 19:36

I read that chanelle and jenkin both vape and Tom and Jordan smoke, they have to go through the garden to an area to vape/smoke which is why we never see it on camera.

chutneysauce · 10/11/2023 19:37

If Trish goes I do think she'll get an amazing reception!
But I really hope we've all done enough to swing more votes to Jenkin

Ibizabar · 10/11/2023 19:42

There is a big save Trish campaign on Reddit. They are not fans of the 'FB mums' who want Trish out.

Aquarius1234 · 10/11/2023 19:42

Regardless of this series having ups and downs I think 6 weeks seems very very rushed for Big Brother.
I thought 8 weeks was not enough..
Anyway I want Olivia to win as I think shes entertaining at times. I like her accent too and general conversation.
Totally agree about Jordan being fake, you seem him smiling sometimes.
There's no way he would be in the house if was not willing to dress up in stupid costumes and get messy sometimes.
Or was for example self conscious of cameras and mirrors.

TrishIsMySpiritAnimal · 10/11/2023 19:43

So I’ve been meaning to post this for a while…but on the other threads, there’s been criticism of the booing ‘ban’ and the pussy footing of the interviews with AJ and Will.

however - I think it’s the right thing to do.

Im a huge BB fan and have actually gone back to watch seasons I didnt watch at the time. Davina (and to a lesser extent Emma) did indeed give them a bit of a pasting. But looking back - it was fucking horrible. To be jeered at and then have a frosty and harsh reception and often a character assassination from the national treasure presenter…all because they were a bit two-faced a few times or bonked a bloke in a jacuzzi (The Makosi interview was shameful, Davina ought to be horrified at her behaviour especially when she fawned over Anthony). It’s a barbaric way to treat people especially when they’ve done nothing to you personally or anyone you love.

When you look at what has happened with ITV contestants and of course Caroline Flack, I think we really need to discourage the baying-mob attitude and instead approach the exits and interviews with a bit of perspective. Paul and Chanelle have behaved like twats and whilst it’s easy to get riled up in the midst of a great series, really to me it’s not big enough of a deal in the grand scheme of things. On that note - I hope everyone gets a good reception. Times have changed, people’s sensibilities have changed and it’s really not OK for regular people who have been a bit bitchy (rather than say strangled kittens or pissed on war memorials or things that are Actually Bad) to be national hate figures.

Thats my two pence anyway!

That gives me a slight bit of hope!

Her popularity seems 50/50 on Digital Spy

Edited

Agreed. Maybe they were testing the waters as it's been off air for so long here and wanted to see the ratings etc and then decide for future series

Good post.

I've been a BB fanatic since day one (BB5 is my favourite and Victor is my all time favourite hm, loved Craig too from BB1)

But I have always hated the booing, even to those I hated like Maxwell, for eg. My first memory of booing on BB was Adele in BB2 and I felt awful for her. Then I could never forget Vanessa I think BB3? She looked terrified and confused and I hated it.

For me just getting them out was good enough. Always made me cringe. Even last week - I really didn't like Paul or Dylan but did find myself cringing at the boos. I just don't like it

Incogg · 10/11/2023 19:54

@TrishIsMySpiritAnimal I agree. I find that I really want a housemate to have their comeuppance, only to find I hate the booing. It makes me feel like I should be sat there with my knitting ☹️
I think a good outcome would be a more “balanced”, challenging interview, but perhaps that would also feel unfair?

Quirkyme · 10/11/2023 19:56

Sorry but some people deserve to be booed. It can seem horrendous to us watching and I'm not sure if I would partake in it myself, but that's what happens when you are vile inside the house (or just a nasty person in general) and come out on a live stage 🤷🏾‍♀️

Night make people reflect on their behaviour.

rockingbird · 10/11/2023 19:58

I'm rooting for Trish tonight, I hope she isn't going. 🫣 I'd like to see Jenkin out, he's been a big player in the garden gang, I think Chanelle is a definite to go.. I'm actually quite nervous for Trish, I find it hard to comprehend people don't like her.

Yes watching the old seasons it seems that so many women were booed for having the nerve to be attractive and/or not take shit. Rachel is season 11 who was bullied relentlessly by the Aussie prick is a good example. She did nothing wrong Z SO many women went through this. Booed also for being unattractive and not taking shit. Or for being a fence sitter, quiet, loud, funny, not funny…any woman basically

Quirkyme · 10/11/2023 19:59

Oh okay, I'm not speaking about that or unjust bullying and booing, that's deffo uncalled for.

I was more speaking about the current season - namely Dylan and Paul

Oh it’s not a dig at you (you are my second favourite person after all 😁) but more the approach taken by the presenters and TV channel/audience.

ITV are already walking a fine line with reality show contestant mental health!

Quirkyme · 10/11/2023 20:01

@TrishIsMySpiritAnimal hehe that's okay 🫶🏾hehe honoured.
