Didn't mind Trish but funny how her biggest supporters have now gone quiet.
Well it's not surprising. Given her persona in the house nobody expected this turn of events.

I guess the casting researchers must have had a day off! It's Casting 101 to check the social media of anyone who makes it on to the contestant shortlist (and even check the accounts of their close family - bit like MI5...)

I'm disappointed and puzzled. People do change but did Trish wake up one morning and think I'm not going to be a racist bigot anymore??

As a viewer, I judged/responded to what I observed of her conversations and actions in the BB house and thought that she was a worthy HM.

Her tweets and apparent actions outside the house are a real disappointment.

And I don’t see how Trish’s racist tweets vindicate people who accused her of being bossy .

I think Trish, otherwise emotionally intelligent and compassionate, had a blind spot in terms of horrible prejudice towards Asian people.
It’s similar to Paul or Olivia. Otherwise exuberant and loyal people who demonstrated prejudices towards these two black women.
It makes me wonder what my prejudices are, and how they manifest ☹️

Exactly. There was a lot of heavy insinuation that not liking Trish was down to racism and clearly it worked as for a while there, no other opinions were being posted 🤦🏽‍♀️ even I as a black woman/former Trish fan steered clear.

it's getting so tired now and is really unfair applying labels to innocent people, why can't people just be normal 😭.

I would like Trish now to have her say. She really needs to come and if this is true, apologise for those tweets, not run and hide. I am on the fence until l hear from the horses mouth.

No one needs to be vindicated for having a different view to you, what do you mean by that?
I thought Trish was a great HM. She came across to me as very emotionally intelligent and thoughtful. But that doesn't give me the right to throw accusations at people who didn't feel the same.

We don't even know her, we watched a small snippet of the day. The people in the house (Channele included) lived with eachother and are entitled to not get along with people they didn't like spending time with without vile accusations and abuse.

The Trish tweets are truly indefensible, genuinely shocking. I'm now glad she went, it would have been so disappointing had she won and then they came out. I think I want Henry to win now.

People of all ages and background are free to become members here, maybe we have different ways of speaking but you understood what I meant so what's the issue?

Not sure what to think. If it's her account (clearly been deleted so she will know it's 'out there' and being talked about) she should say something about it. If it's not her account likewise.

When I searched Trish on insta it took a while to find her and I did find other similar accounts in my search. However it could very easily be her too.

Still would be happy with a Yinrun or Noky win.

The others are all a bit meh for me. Maybe Henry as my 3rd. I did like Jordan but I found him a bit annoying lately

I'd like to see Jordan and yinrun be shown these when they leave now.
But it doesn't mean chanelle and Tom were now not being racist just because Trish was before, they did say she was scary because she is black essentially and label her behaviour. Paul did bully noky. Tom still shouted at noky for daring to have an opinion. One does not cancel out the other!

I doubt that she will address it. The fact that she left those comments to stand shows that she didn't see anything wrong with them. I think she will quietly try to disappear.

I agree that her behaviour doesn't cancel out some of the other contestants' behaviour.

I would quite like the housemates to be shown a few headlines though!

I'm not looking forward to LandL tonight if she does dare to show her face. Worried they may try and mollycoddle her. I guess we'll see.
