Missed the first 20 mins or so of tonight’s episode, so watching it on itvx now.

Jenkin said after the task was explained if his mum came in he didn’t care and would be talking to her, regardless of what it means for the task. So why on earth did they pick him?! If I was a security guard, I’d be like fuck that and kick his mum out and then my reason would be because you said you were gonna talk to her and lose us the budget. He wouldn’t have been able to complain about it. Shouldn’t make comments like that it comes across as a right dickhead

Yes that was a ridiculous comment. No one knows who "could take it" more easily - upsetting for whichever one doesn't get to see their visitor.

I found it weird because Tom used almost the exact same phrase, about “forgiving but not forgetting” how his best friend was forced out cos of Trish.

I'd be like ok I am but give me a break now!

Calling Trish strong is just an excuse to walk all over her, put her up for eviction, eject her family, all because “she’s so strong she can take it!”

Edit: actually it reminds me of the sister on Encanto, the strong one. The song about how they all rely on her because she’s physically strong but she struggles mentally dealing with all the problems they put on her.
