It's probably rumours but what does everyone think to Vito and Ellie apparently being more than dance partners..?

I'm not interested in their relationship off the dance floor. I hope this isn't distracting for them.

I wouldn't pay much attention to it. They may be or may not. It's not going to alter my opinion of her or her dancing.

What I have found with these bits of gossip over the last few series of Strictly, is that they are, more often than not, wrong about the supposed couple. - Kai and AJ, Dan and Nadiya, Gio and Rose, Gio and Ranvir, Gio and Faye, even Hamza and Jowita weren't safe from romance rumours.

Then later down the line, it turns out that a completely different couple are together. Did anyone see Mollie and Tyler as a couple back then?

I loved Rachel Stevens and Vincent Simone as my shoulda-bin winners. Their rumba was the first rumba I ever liked, and I loved their tango and AT too.

Obviously danny and oti should have won (though I do appreciate Ore's journey)
I also thought gio and faye should have won over Stacey and Kevin from grimsby.

Apparently Natalie Lowe was also in the last series of DWTS Australia. I know Tristan was a judge a few years ago. They are nabbing all my favourite pros! It'll be Flavia and Vincent next.

I just watched Ian's freestyle (came third) and it was a charleston type but with him in a half black leather belt/corset type thing. Hilarious when you consider they tried to showmance him with Denise back in the day.

I’m surprised more of them aren’t at it, tbh. Dancing with a partner is a very sexy and intimate activity, and they’re together for hours every day.

Sorry this was a while ago and the thread has moved on but to answer question …. Yes basically I just vote on whom I’m enjoying regardless of their dance that week 🫣 My childrens bedtimes are at annoying times for strictly (and they like company at bedtime sadly!) so I sit and enjoy the show once they are asleep which is usually after the end of it. I didn’t use to vote but got fed up “not having a say” so started to log on to vote whilst sitting in DC bedroom waiting for them to sleep (I realise this is a whole other thread topic 🫣).

Fiest week or so I didn’t bother then I vote for who I’d like to see go further but weren’t great dancers or wasn’t sure public support (Krishnan, Annabel mainly). Last week I wanted to vote for Adam To keep him in after being in DO prior week but I missed the voting time sadly.

Bit odd but only way that works for me right now as I can’t watch live. I wonder how many others vote without seeing. I’m guessing Layton might have quite a fan base that will remember voting time and quickly over regardless of where they are that evening whereas I’d imagine sometime like Annabel or AngelaR is getting votes from people watching life. It’s a strange system. I also wouldn’t vote at all if needed to call up I only vote online.

Oh and I think it not our business if Ellie and Vito are together but I’d secretly like them to be as they seem well matched. The rumours never seem to hold up though. I have spotted that their outfits on ITT are quite matchy matchy though. I’m sure both in black this week and last week both white sheer type tops. Very coordinated <<wink wink nudge nudge >>

I'll vote against my favourite at times, Krishnan is the one I love to watch most but I voted for Angela S this week as I think she's a really skilled dancer and she gets the worst costumes, they don't seem to know what to do with her makeup because she's not orange coloured, and her pro is new and not that popular yet.

True they probably do have stylists but I’ll still go with the secret couple signaling via clothes choices 🤣

just watching ITT (kids asleep - I live on catch up tv!) Angela R is incredibly savvy media wise. She’s got right in there giving her reason for why she looked grumpy. She’s clearly looked at the social media chatter and has her story to say. I’m not sure if I beleive her or not now

I only get 1 vote - DD demands that I vote for her favourites - she loves Diane, and Ellie is her fave celebrity this year!

My vote has flirted around a bit, Amanda had it while she was still in and Krishnan got it a few times. This week Annabel got it as I sobbed like a baby watching her VT.

I didn’t like Angela when I saw her on ITT…. she came across as a bit of a snake.

Her “listening face” ….. it was more like her “pissed off face”.

I feel a bit sorry for Kai, he strikes me as the kind of guy who would rather be eliminated with pride than tactically be kept in at the expense of others.

Surely Angela will end up in the D/O again and I can’t see how she could be saved a second time without it then being obvious to everyone else that it’s all a set-up 🤷‍♀️

Unless she's in DO against Krishnan, or Annabel (possibly) or sangela on a bad week- or Bobby, even. I honestly can't see her going out before Blackpool unless she falls flat on her face.

I think AR will be going to Blackpool whether she's in the dance off or not.

Judges will overinflate her scores so that she is close to the top of the leaderboard. Even if she's in the dance off due to a lack of public votes, they will save her over someone lower on the leaderboard. Layton and Ellie are not likely to end up in the dance off with her, those two are untouchable.

AJ Odudu was robbed, although I know it's a bit different as it was injury rather than lack of votes.
She was brilliant. I remember Craig saying he wished she'd started dancing as a child, meaning that if she had she could have been a pro.

I miss Ian Waite too. He's my gay best friend he just hasn't realised it and I loved him both on the main show and on ITT.

Talking of rumbas and Colin 'Robbed' Jackson, his rumba was probably the only decent male celeb rumba ever. It was terrific.

Colin's rumba was amazing. Simple and effective.
