I don't understand why posters are saying Layton and Nikita's routines are overly sexualised? I don't think they have been at all compared to others.

As for their dances being 'Laytonized', I think this is Nikita being able to push the boundaries of choreography and being able to put in tricks that he wouldn't normally.

I like their routines and look forward to watching them each week though, they seem to be getting on really well as a partnership which seems to make a difference I think.

two of my faves from past seasons (Karim and Aston) also got to do some tricks, though I did like that Amy limited Karim's tricks a bit when they would have detracted from the dance (generally ballroom numbers).

It’s the whole “stop shoving it in our face brigade”, we had Bobby pretty much coming in his pants at the end of his dance!

Have just watched it - I loved all of them & thought the standard was great. Ellie is fantastic!

Krishnan just makes me smile, he was doing some Dad-dancing yesterday but he looks so happy to be there. He reminds me of Ed Balls on the dance floor. 🤣

No, he used to be, but he quit a while ago. He still posts on Digital Spy, mostly on the Not An Appreciation Thread threads.

I don't mind Layton and you're pretty much guaranteed an outstanding performance from him whether he's technically accurate or not.

I'm not sure about suggestions of sexualising his.dances, and I certainly don't think that was the case yesterday.

His recent performances however, are starting to look the same. There are too many moves and tricks that don't belong in the style of the dance, which should be saved for couple's choice or show dance.

Layton needs a contrasting style of dance to show discipline in his movement and variety.

The spoiler has been leaked on other social media, but I haven't checked to confirm so as far as I'm concerned, I still dont know who is in the DO.
