Just home from L&L - what a surreal experience! Phones are sealed in bags as you go in, and you can't retrieve them until you are outside, so no photos al all.
The 'we will be tributes' took 5 takes I think!
It was stated that 'drinks and snacks' would be available.... we got a can of wine whilst watching tonight's aired episode (we watch it earlier than TV) and a teeny bag of haribo at the first break!
Nothing is given away, the most interesting snippet I gleaned all night was that AJs outfit was Karen Millen.
Still a fun experience though!

Gothambutnotahamster · 06/11/2023 07:17

Thanks for the update @AlphaAlpha - glad you had fun!

Ladybrrrd · 06/11/2023 08:22

That was so frustrating. Utterly awful edit. 45 minutes of product placement but they didn't show:
-Jenkin bitching about Yinrun because she tried to cut his cake to share with everyone, but he wanted it all to himself.
-Jenkin saying he purposely leaves the toilet unflushed so that Jordan can "eat my shit".
-Olivia and Tom doing that childish 'ice out' thing to Noky in front of her face.
-Henry being the first one to come for a cuddle after he and J had made up.
-J and H's banter and MUCH longer convo about feelings. And of course their much sweeter make up. They fell asleep holding hands!

J and Noky's banter and cuddles.

They're obviously trying to paint a much nicer picture of Jenkin for some reason and get Jordan kicked out/villainised. Such a biased L and L too! I don't give a shit about the task - extend the episode more on a Sunday and show us real conversations.

Ladybrrrd · 06/11/2023 08:26

Oh and once again ignoring blatant nom talk from Olivia and Tom.

Thanks @Ladybrrrd I don’t watch the live thread so would never have known about certain things like Jenkin not wanting to share his cake, greedy bastard.

He is starting to seem an unpleasant character tbh. I’m glad he has been nominated this week. He’s not as bad as Olivia & Tom in my mind but he still isn’t very nice. Hopefully all 3 of them will be up this week so we can get rid of another member of the mean gang.

Fingers crossed, though the Foul Four have really been gunning for Jordan this week and obviously the producers want people to hate him, so I'm worried. People seem to want to 'save' Henry by taking his best mate away!

Twiglets1 · 06/11/2023 08:42

Seriously, what has Jordan ever done to Jenkin for him to hate him so much? It reflects worse on Jenkin because it seems like nothing more than dislike based on assumptions around class.

I was surprised the other day when Jordan nominated Jenkin over Paul but now I understand that he has picked up on Jenkins irrationally strong dislike of him.

Ladybrrrd · 06/11/2023 08:50

Jenkin was pissed off at Jordan because Jordan hid 2 cans of Diet Coke as far as I can tell. 😂
Really though I expect it's because he's part of Trish's crew and they all seem to know about Jenry, so maybe he's just an easy target.

Twiglets1 · 06/11/2023 08:56

2 cans of Diet Coke is nothing compared to the stash Paul took that Tom is presumably still benefiting from!

Ladybrrrd · 06/11/2023 09:13

Yeah it's baffling. They've barely spoken two words to each other. The mean group are just utterly obsessed with food though. It's the only way they can think to get to people. Chanelle and Tom were talking about sabotaging the shopping task so that the rest of them had nothing to eat.

So stupid- their group would suffer too!

And can’t Chanelle see that the mean ones are getting nominated & then picked off by the public? It seems so obvious to us

BellaTheDarkOverlord · 06/11/2023 09:28

I finally got to watch last nights episode. Wow Tom’s group are so sour about Paul and Dylan leaving. Tom and Olivia are acting so nasty towards the others. I think any of that group to go next, hope it’s Tom.

Thesearmsofmine · 06/11/2023 09:45

Wow really interesting to read about the bits we don’t see on the main show. Wtf is wrong with Jenkin, he seems bitter and greedy. Chanelle has gone down in my estimations over the last couple of episodes too.

Olivia and Tom are both horrible, Olivia is a mean girl, sour faced, loud and rough. The type you’d see having a screaming match outside a bar with her boyfriend. Tom is sneaky and seems a bit thick.

I have to laugh at them when they talk about people being in there for the right reasons. There are no right reasons, some want the money, some want the exposure and some want the experience, none are more valid than the others imo.

I wish some of the housemates would give time to Trish to listen to and check in on her. She seems to give so much of her time supporting others and sticking up for them and no one seems to do the same for her. I would think it’s quite mentally draining for Trish just now.

I'm not the only one who's noticed! She gives such good advice, always supporting other house mates. No one asks her how she's doing 🤦‍♀️ that baffles me. She's my winner of this show. I like Jordan but it's all wearing thin, the treatment of Henry and back n forth between them and matty is driving me nuts. He seems massively autistic and totally unaware of his lack of empathy towards others - at his age he should be able to recognise his behaviour more. (That coming from a mother with two autistic boys).

Figgygal · 06/11/2023 09:56

The garden gang are their own worst enemies at this point
Someone said on l+l last night they sit and moan about the others while the others are getting on with the game and their experience

I'm having the edit if they do another season they need less l+l which I've never made through an episode as its shite, longer main show and proper live feed. It was referenced here the other day the digital spy commentary about how itv are ruining their own show with how they've approached the feed.

At this point the garden gang will go one after another and I don't have a winner at the moment....maybe Henry bless him

Ladybrrrd · 06/11/2023 10:02

He did recognise his behaviour, that's why he spent hours talking to Henry and apologising last night. He took full responsibility. As an Autistic person, (though he isn't diagnosed and we should be careful with this dialogue) I really empathize with him and his need to hide/get away from people when you're upset. He dealt with the upset of hearing H and M talk about him in a poor way, but I think it's understandable. Especially as Henry denied that they had been talking about anything. Some people cry, and some people put their defenses up.

Oh and by the way people don't get less Autistic with age you know.

Ladybrrrd · 06/11/2023 10:03

I agree about Trish though, she's taken mother hen role well but needs love too!

I agree, Trish to win! She is the most caring one to other housemates and gets a load of stick for it without that much emotional support even from her own group.

rockingbird · 06/11/2023 10:11

@Ladybrrrd at no point did I suggest you get less autistic! You do however learn to recognise that you sometimes act and feel differently. It's took him quite a while to reach out to Henry - who was visibly very upset. Yes he made amends and that's great, but he's just not doing himself any favours putting up the barriers like that. Let's remember he's applied to come on a reality show .. he's no totally oblivious to his surroundings.

Rollergirl11 · 06/11/2023 10:11

Trish probably falls in to that nurturing Mother hen role outside of the house too. People like her always end up giving more of themselves then they get back. I think people genuinely don’t stop to think or reflect on how emotionally draining it can be to be the confidant and sorter-outer of everyone.

EachandEveryone · 06/11/2023 10:23

I wonder if the garden gang are the smokers of the group? It would make sense how they gravitate to each other and go outside. Ah, how I miss a smokers corner always where you find the gossip.😀

NowNumber5 · 06/11/2023 10:27

Wow @Ladybrrrd , thanks so much for the goss on live feed. I was hoping you would give us a lowdown after saying it was a juicy one, but watching last night’s episode, there was hardly any meaningful content in it, even with the extra 15 minutes.

Really childish and disturbing behaviour in regards to the food hoarding.
As for deliberately not flushing the toilet - WTH??! Who does that!

I just want to give Trish a hug and have a cuppa and cake with her.
I was surprised to learn she is just 33 years old, she has such an old soul for her age, she makes time to listen to people and seems to genuinely cares if there is injustice around her.
She’s firmly on top of my to win list.

RunningAndSinging · 06/11/2023 10:32

I was impressed with Trish early on when she was talking about politics with Henry - They have really different views but there was no pre-judgment of how they would get on with each other on that basis.

Entwistle · 06/11/2023 10:38

Hello. New member here. I'm just catching up with the last ep (Sun eve).
*
TOM is the one that is doing my head in. When he was saying 'they better not be giggling... I'm going upstairs because I watch them giggle'... if Trish & Noky had been evicted AS IF Paul/Olivia/Jenkin/Tom wouldn't have been cackling and running around acting like morons celebrating despite Trish's friends presumably crying, etc.?
He irritates me more than Paul and Dylan did combined for some reason!
Chanelle pretending to not know there's one moon and asking if Cleopatra is still alive is annoying too... I don't believe she's honestly that ignorant.
*
JORDAN's behaviour is totally creepy and possessive and bordering gas lighting at times. I'm glad Harry and Matty have started speaking frankly about what's happening.

I hope Tom and Olivia go soon. I think there might for Chanelle and Jenkin to be nice if the mean girls/boys are gone.

E x

PS: Why did they all seem to think Paul was so gorgeous?? Am I missing something?

GoldenGumballs · 06/11/2023 10:46

Poor Trish is taking all the hits having to have the deciding vote last night. You’re all so right she needs some emotional support in there. Noky gives it to her sometime but she can sometimes say the deemed correct phrases rather than get personally involved ( plus she let her down in convo with Olivia) Jenkin and his garden gang are so bitter. Jenkin to go so they implode. Henry needs to be stronger and get a bit angry at how he is being treated. I actually liked how Matty stood up for Trish last night. I think he will be the mediatoor of the 2 sides.
