So true. He reminds me of my brother, who is someone who can never accept or even believe they could be wrong about anything. When we used to get in fights as kids/teens, if he was really pissed off you could see his face change as he went to hit me.

I have never been in an abusive relationship but I can only imagine this is the type of shift that many women see in an abusive man right before he hurts them.
