I do not want to see Bobby do an AT or Adam do a filthy rumba, at all.

I do want to see Layton do a jive. He can have lots of solo bits, and stop kneeing poor Nikita!

I'll be curious to see if Layton handles kicks and flicks well. He's good at big and showy, although sadly their tango was very meh for me...I too have rather taken to Nikita this season. 😁

I apologise, I was so nauseated by the sickly choreography of Adam and Bobby's Halloween routine that I demanded a filthy rumba and a very adult AT for them both. I didn't realise anyone was listening.

I don't think either Bobby or Adam can do anything adult or sexy! Bobby should have waited a year or two, I think. He looks very babyish to me. Adam is not capable of filthiness.

So unfair with Angela R getting yet another slow dance. I was quite keen to see her do well at the beginning of the series but now I'm fed up with the over marking and the lack of an equal playing field 😳

I think Adam's rumba will be either romantic or a sort of 'friends' feel, like Karen with that comedian (?) who was very clear that he didn't want to do a sexy one.
It'll be fine. I mean, he'll be rubbish, but it wont make your toes curl with its fake-sexiness.
Bobby AT: well, I've made my views on him clear. But, benefit of the doubt. I'd like to be surprised.

Anyone watching ITT - Annabel was just talking about her DH. Sounds like theres been lots of tears during training - interesting that's not been shown on camera. Glad it's not being exploited.

I don't see the problem with letting Angela R do the dances she's good at. It's perfectly normal for couples to do that if they're not hoping to make the final. And she has done quickstep and Charleston, albeit a bit slower than normal.

Overmarking is a different kettle of fish, that's a problem.

Yes, poor Annabel, quite recently widowed after a long marriage. That's got to be tough. JoJo is a nice partner for her though, and I imagine very patient and kind.

Once she's in danger of leaving they will exploit her being widowed.

Having seen the very touching way Annabel and JoJo talked about their Couples Choice being dedicated to her husband, I predict lots of tears on Saturday and high scores. I now think they are less likely to be bottom two on Sat due to sympathy voting.

I have a theory that, having criticised Nigel relentlessly for a few weeks and upset all his fans, the script will now call for his and Katya's tango this week to get rave judging reviews. It's time for the judges to mix it up again. You heard it here first, Nigel and Katya will be top of the leaderboard on Saturday.

If Layton isn't getting much public support due to being a ringer, maybe we're due a shock bottom 2 - Adam vs Layton? With Adam going home obviously.

We lost a really good dancer when Amanda quit.

To be fair to Bobby when they announced he was doing an AT he did say that he was too young for it. I'm not looking forward to it. If he tries to do the his legs going in and out of her legs things he's so tall he'll be kneeing her in the vulva. Adam may surprise us with the rumba but I'm not convinced he'll do a good job of it. I'm hoping that Carlos comes up with some good choreography this week and that Angela S breathes. I'm also hoping for no mistakes from Nigel this week. I don't have to hope for good choreography because Katya is one of the best at inventive and compelling choreography. I'm annoyed that Angela S hasn't had to do anything too fast since her cha cha cha back in week one or two. They loved it, it was pedestrian.

I would bloody love Angela S to get to do a CC with some Irish dancing in it. I would whoop with pleasure.

@MouseMinge, was the Charleston not fast?! I agree that an irish dancing CC for her would be fantastic.

Nigel can do no wrong with me. Even his mistakes are charming like when he kicked Katya's foot. He kept going too and that's to be commended.

Am sick of Angela R's high scores. It would be nice for her to make Blackpool, but at the expense of a better dancer? Then again, I'm not entirely convinced Annabel or Adam are much better. Though they are of course lovely people.

I'd like Ellie, Nigel and Krishnan in the final but the only (almost) dead cert out of those is Ellie and obv not Krishnan I just like him.

I'd be really surprised if Layton hit the bottom two before Blackpool. All the polls and general online discourse suggest that he does have a voting fan base - not as much as Ellie or Nigel but more than Adam and Angela R. It's not clear how he stacks up relative to Bobby, Angela S and Annabel, but unless he has a shocker I can't see him in the dance-off yet.

I think Mouseminge meant Angela R who did a very slow Charleston where she sat down for a third of the dance.

I really don't think that Nigel's mistakes are worse than anyone else's performances, but it seems that is the narrative judges or producers are trying to push!

Not looking forward to the AT with Bobby and Dianne. It will look very awkward, and can Bobby do smouldering?

I think the jive will suit Layton, as the fast ones play to his strengths.

It will be a while before Layton is in the dance off, I think.

Maybe week 9 or 10, but it would seem very cruel for him to be in the DO in musicals week, as that is his livelihood.
