Who took the most acid?

Creators of children's telly must either have the most warped of minds just to come up with the ideas, or more likely, take a lot of drugs. Which programme took the most drugs to create in your opinion?

Ed Edd & Eddie IMO I hate that programme and I hate to hear my children laughing at its stupidity

WigWamBam · 18/12/2004 09:13

Boobah. Definitely.

Although I think the cast of Balamory take the most drugs - they are so relentlessly chirpy yet have that glazed-over look.

What about the Rock n Roll programme, Yoho Ahoy? I read somewhere that Stan Cullimore out of the Housemartins was something to do with this, but also one of the people working on it is a bloke called Joss Cope. His brother Julian was notorious for his acid consumption so there is a strong possibility that there may have been a slight drug influence.

Quote from co-creator Peter Lang

"After Vision On, Mirek and I made a series called Ludwig. This was a fly on the wall animation looking at the lives of some woodland animals, and what happens when an alien, Beethoven loving egg comes to live with them."

No acid involved in the creation of that concept at all then.

DingWongMerrilyOnHigh · 18/12/2004 13:54

that was somw weird s@£t they foisted on us in the seventies wasn't it?

spacedonkey · 18/12/2004 13:56

You'd think they would've died from a drug-related illness by now but they're the ones that produce bonny, banana and mo for tikkabilla
