Creators of children's telly must either have the most warped of minds just to come up with the ideas, or more likely, take a lot of drugs. Which programme took the most drugs to create in your opinion?

you have to look at this website

"Smells

Some people claim that disadvantaged children smell of cheap biscuits. We have recognised this phenomenon and given it it's own icon."

spacedonkey · 18/12/2004 14:40

I do love the interweb, I am laughing my head off

spacedonkey · 18/12/2004 14:42

i'll get me coat

DingWongMerrilyOnHigh · 18/12/2004 14:42

that's true, although not a nice label, when I was at school the children of romany descent were sometimes singled out by the teacher who said he could smell that biscuity smell again.

I don't think he was trying to be mean, just a misguided attempt to try and steer them towards changing their clothes more often.

yes it is sd, this will help you regain your equilibrium

xmascaroltygirl · 18/12/2004 14:52

Just so that you can avoid it if you ever decide to do a spot of programme-writing yourself, please note what these
very irresponsible people are doing. The most alarming thing is that I got the link from the Guardian online, who claim that, apparently, it's legal.

xmascaroltygirl · 18/12/2004 14:54

Now that has definitely killed it!

I only came onto the thread because I thought it was a competition...

spacedonkey · 18/12/2004 14:55

Thanks for that wong, the sight of the flatley tableau immediately punctured my hysteria

i have seen this company selling magic mushrooms around london xsg

My nephew would have loved it a couple of years ago - when he was 14 or so he took far too many of them and ran amok in a park in Leeds. He ended up getting arrested, during which he bit a policeman on the leg.

In our family he has been known as Fungus the Bogeyman ever since.

DingWongMerrilyOnHigh · 18/12/2004 14:57

SNORT! Sorry I know it's not funny really, but it's the way you tell em!

Last time I had magic mushrooms, I ate a finger of fudge but forgot to remove the wrapper first and couldn't work out why it had such an interesting texture.

xmascaroltygirl · 18/12/2004 15:01

Good Lord, and I've just looked up from my screen and who's on CBBC? The big green guy himself. Haven't seen him for years.

(FTB, that is, not my nephew...)
