started last night so I’ve just seen it on tv advertised and thought erm what have I missed 😂😂

mew 6 parter stars Lexie - morven Christie witnessing the murder of her husband Jared who was minutes away from completing a secretive business deal with crime boss cal morris

as Jared’s death leaves a crucial transaction in limbo as cal finds he has millions on pounds in limbo and Lexie is the only way to get it back

lexie has a perfect life. Mum of two but hubby was her life so no friends or family near by

police want to talk to her as they’ve been Investigating her husband hoping to bring cal dooooooooooown !!!!

lexie soon releises she is caught between police and cal

looks good. I will try and watch tonight to report back on e1 and 2 is next wed

Watched the first episode but haven't read the review as yet. Edge of my seat, but I tell you what, no way would I have walked into that alleyway with Cal and no way would I have trusted the 'smoke alarm engineer' stunt, not for one single moment.

I am confused by the passports.
One for him, one each for the children & one for…?
Who was in the photo for the woman’s passport?
If it was Lexie then she would have cottoned on much sooner or is this why she was so adamant that he was not having an affair?

Ooh I just looked at the sky planner and thought this week was ep1! Now I’ve read the recap I really don’t recall watching S1 but I love Peter Mullan (he’s so menacing especially in the Ozarks) so I can’t imagine that I didn’t…..!

Yes. They did that well I thought, slowly drawing it out, his fake name passport, each of the children’s and you wait for the reveal of who he was running away with, only for all of us to find out it was going to be her all along. The shock and the relief were well acted.

One question - would she really have had to go and identify Jared's body, given that she was there/with him when he died? That seemed a bit odd.

That's quite a shock to me because I'm not that familiar with him as an actor. Only after I checked, I realised I know him best for his role of Michael in 'Mum' which isn't the slightest bit menacing. Just proved he can act and that he has one of those faces that can go either way ie kindly and fun, or dark and don't mess with me. I hadn't realised he was in Ozark at all, although in my defence I didn't watch all of it and came to it very late, kind of flirted with it rather than being a fan.

Don't know about the ID thing, dramatic license?

I've only watched episode one. I was so confused at first but I think it's a good storyline now. Feel so sorry for her, him dying in front of her then slowly finding it all out. The police seem to think she's in on it.

Very much enjoying this series. I haven't come across the actress who plays Lexie before, but I think she's very good. (As is all the cast, actually).

Watched Mrs sidhu last night instead of this. She was ok

Indeed! She did an amazing job and it was an incredible experience for her. Everyone from runners to directors and her chaperone made the experience what it was and it feels very surreal to finally see it on tv.

I came on here just looking for suggestions for something new to watch but can't leave before saying I had NO idea Peter Mullan was in Ozark and I watched the entire thing! Have seen Mum too and just didn't make the link till I saw it here 🤣

I think the nanny knows the money is dodgy and is worrying about getting involved.

Wouldn't it be tricky for her to travel abroad with the children but without her husband, given that they have different names? (Using the false passports, that is)
