I think of LSOH and TSOM as film musicals. TSOM is one of the biggest films in the box office of all time. So I think it passes the film test.

I’ve seen the movie, but they didn’t make the captain wear them did they? Also, they are just ridiculous with that blonde thatch wig. Why not just actual leather-look lederhosen?

I agreed with Motsi. It reminded me of childhood and captured the essence of TSOM.

I wonder if the judges have been forewarned that the general standard this week is poor – well, it seems to be based on what we’ve seen so far. In which case they may have been directed to be kinder with the marks because otherwise it’s going to be a very low scoring week?

I don't think I ever did, but this show has cemented my view.
