Kai does look younger with that terrible blond wig.

Nigel and Katya both looked like they had weights in their boots - both looked heavy-legged.

Amy looked fantastic, great to see her. Nadiya also looks great.

Kai does not suit a blonde wig and lederhosen!

Joining the thread late, Poor Nigel. Really don’t think that mess was his fault, the combination of tricky song, boots and those blooming capes getting in the way really didn’t help at all.

Nigel as Batman, Kai in lederhosen... two of my faves destroyed in a matter of minutes. That made me feel queasy.

that was terrible. no quickstep I could see. And Kai should never wear anything but a suit or tails.

Why have they made Kai’s lederhosen out of curtains?

There was hardly any quickstep in that (perhaps unsurprisingly).

So the first half of that was plenty of nice basic quickstep, then... it stopped being a quickstep.

I don't think Angela's got the energy for this The first half was painfully slow and the second half she basically gave up dancing.

Claud and Tess look great as do Shirley and Motsi.

I thought the opening number was a lot duller than it could have been.

Nigel needs to have his face visible, his emoting is a great part of his performance.

This is understandably quite a slow quick step from Angela. But charming.

Gosh that was quite a high screech to end it on.

This will be overmarked again I fear
