Loved Karen sticking up for herself on ITT

There is something slightly weird about Angela’s posture. I also can’t warm to her at all. She seems overly pleased with herself.

I love Angela Scanlon, Bobby and Annabelle, so far.

In regard to previous comments about Angela R - bear in mind she's BBC royalty. The judges know which side their bread's buttered. 😏

Angela is dancing to a Sound of Music song. A bit twee and slow.

Will Angela be wearing a pinafore and frock? If I went on Strictly, I’d want nice, floaty dresses, not frocks.

Looking at the videos thread, there were some really gorgeous dresses in days of yore.

Angela Rippon’s outfit on Saturday was hideous, those padded shoulders showed nothing of her line and made her look hunch-shouldered and neckless. (I said this upthread but can’t get it out of my head!)

Just finished watching bits of ITT.

Layton will be Rizzo in his dance, and he will be doing it in ballroom heels. They looked good in the training room.

I like Amanda's dress so far, very sparkly and lovely shade of peacock blue. However, it does not resemble anything to do with Bridget Jones. Vicky Gill made a comment about not always being able to embody the character into the dance costume.

Why oh why is Dianne the lead in the Barbie pros group dance?! Surely, the most obvious choice would have been Nadiya, especially since she doesn't have a celeb partner this year.

Diane gets too much coverage I feel. She seems to always be partnered and lead in a lot of the songs. I’m not a big fan of hers and don’t think she brings best out of her celebrity.

Given we've had a Spiderman Charleston (Oti and Graeme), Spiderman Couple's Choice (Nancy and Rhys) Superman paso (Karen and Mark) and Batman AS (Nadiya and David), I'm surprised that they've never done more Marvel/DC characters. Am sure Black Panther had a few songs in it.

I'm glad that Jody was well enough to dance today, but he has missed rehearsal time. I think it's a problem with prosthetics.
