According to the internet , Shabnam had a ONS with Dean and then found out she was pregnant and decided to keep the baby. (This was in 08, so no wonder I didn't remember any of it ! Lol)

Shirley had a son who died ( Jimbo) and he had C/F. I do recall another Carter child having the same condition too , but it's very vague!

I don't think I was watching EE when Shabnam must have had Jade! I remember her being married to Kush and them having a stillborn baby boy, which caused them to split up afterwards.

I don't remember much of Dean at all - to me everything he did was literally eclipsed by the rape storyline.

Ah thanks all, that storyline must’ve passed me by as I cannot remember Shabnam with Dean at all.
I only recall her relationship with Kush (😭 like pp, I’m gutted he was killed off)
I quite liked the Masood family though. I wonder if any of them will make a return, now it seems Jade is in the picture.
Poor Linda though. I’m glad she’s got Elaine for support. I like Elaine’s character, she seems feisty but fair.

I think that Shabnam went through a rebellious stage and had a ons with Dean. It was a blink or you'll miss story , but she decided to keep the baby and eventually was written out. I can't remember that much, but I do recall her still born baby with Kush and that was very sad.
I also liked her brother Tamwar , but he didn't come back

I thought it was a shame to split up Nancy and Tamwar for the sake of a finite return to the square for Nancy, even if the alternative was that we never saw them again. It would be nice if there were at least one or two properly happy endings.

She did come back briefly and was with Zack , but she took off again after they lost money on a new business venture ( something to do with Janine and a scam involving Linda without her knowledge)
