Actually, came back to say I found Whitney's part in the episode more stressful than Stacey's. Poor girl having to rehash all her past abuse! And for what? The lady didn't even specify that's what she wanted go talk about ffs.

Also, hated the fact Zack just sat there silently without saying a single word the whole time. I mean, what about his childhood? He was the one who grew up in foster care after all. Way too much focus on the woman imho.

Being HIV previously might also work against him ? I've no idea, but both have a fractured history

In my borough there is a huge shortage of foster carers and they make a point of stating that single parents, same sex couples and anyone irrespective of HIV status can foster. Not sure if that is the case nationwide.

Whitney’s history though, sexual abuse and the grooming, would unfortunately be more likely to be a negative factor which is really unfair.

Whitney and Zack haven't even together for long, she is scared of getting pregnant again and has no previous experience of parenting, she has huge emotional issues from her past which is obviously still an open wound. Plus, as someone said up thread, Zack has a problematic past too. I think they would be unlikely to be approved as foster parents. I have been through this process myself as an adoptive parent.

Stacey has KILLED people, and one of the men who raped her. Why is she being written as though she is behaving like a scared little girl.. why didn't she tell Theo she's killed people who tried to hurt her ffs.

I'm annoyed they've done this to her again, but changed her whole fkin personality with it.

She was doing brilliantly until the kitchen... expect she got triggered, but also its hard to think straight / be strong when youre completely knackered!
Plus dont forget, he pointed out the court didnt believe her, his story as to why he was there was coherent, so he had the upper hand in the scenario in more ways then one..

hopefully he is just badly hurt and will be too embarrassed to go to the police = don't want poor Freddy in trouble
there's no way he would be walking straight back into his job

Or .. he has killed Theo and this is a route to reunite him with Bobby (both having killed someone). Though I wouldn’t be a fan of this storyline.
