The whole story has so many ' freak coincidences' as George put it as well as plot holes which haven't been addressed
The fact he met Linda's mum over there ( what's the chances ?) , the fact nobody has asked her what she was doing for nine years ( living on fresh air?) , the fact she can produce ironed cutesy dresses and a scarf out of one bag , is she still married to Ian or George etc etc
All of which will be air brushed out of significance!

I think Cindy and George did not marry legally. Maybe they had some kind of unofficial wedding. Although, she probably could get away with it using the name Rose instead of Cindy!

Maybe she had another couple of kids during the 9 years. Her second set of twins will turn up in a years time “mum how come you just left us in <insert random country> duff duff.

I think the scriptwriters are hoping viewers will be so swept up with her return that they won’t question some of the plot holes.

For example why did she secretly return when Lucy died but not bother following Steven’s death? By then her handlers knew Lucy was not killed by the gangster family. In fact since returning all of her wailing and mourning has been about Lucy and she has barely mentioned her first born!

I still can’t work out how she found and reconnected with Ian.

Yes, why didn't Cindy Rose go back to George once the police discovered that Lucy's death was nothing connected to her being in WP?
She also went into this arrangement with the police a few weeks after having Cindy jnr
If anyone has a reason to hate her more than the others it's Cindy jnr ! Plus Steven died in a terrible fire , yet nothing for him either

Re. Cindy jr: I think her reasoning is that since she gave her up at birth, Cindy jr hasn’t ever really ‘missed’ her. She said something to that effect when Kathy asked why she hasn’t gone to Germany to see her.

The lack of remorse over Steven is bizarre. There was a scene where she went to Lucy’s grave but not his, they must be in the same cemetery.

It seems she’s now only interested in Gina & Anna but probably only as a way to get George back. Kathy’s right, she hasn’t changed at all!

Cindy junior was brought up by her grandparents in the west country or somewhere.
Going by tv shows / books etc , I always thought some people knew if you went into WP ( as long as you could trust them / family etc) so I wonder if they knew ? Or were spun the whole ' died having her ' lines?
Cindy jnr was a lost soul at one point and became pregnant with TJ's child ( one of Bianca Butchers sons or whatever relation he was)

Oh I'm sure she'll get George back from Elaine's clutches!
The girls will be bought with ian's money ( spa days, trips up London ) or some family crisis which will bring them together again to talk about Marbs and what they had etc

Abi was a superb actress. I never understood why people rated the actress who played Lauren when the one who played Abi was head and shoulders above her.

Not only did Pete, Kathy and Ian live in a high rise, they thought they were really grand for doing so. I remember that bit!

My friend grew up in Germany in Army barracks. Her family were broad Scots but she has the poshest English accent you've ever heard. So yep, they'd have picked up some sort of accent.
(Fyi, it's pidgin, not pigeon. Not sure why, though 🤔)
