Mary seemed convinced that Lucy and these Foster people were connected, so I kind of understood her initial concerns, but once it was apparent that it was nothing to do with them, why didn't she go back to the girls / George ?

They need to bring back Ravi and focus on the panesars/eve and suki. Feel like they need to wrap this crap up really quickly. It's ridiculous. No wonder Dani Dyer left. No more characters from the dead please.

EE relies too much on blackmail storylines and raising old characters from the dead to spice things up. With a bit of extra energy they do some storylines really well like Lola's cancer. I guess writing to churn out two hours of TV a week is going to be hard, so I can see why they might fall back on blackmail or 'let's contact this broke old actor to see if they want to come back'. They can introduce some decent new characters and give them to good storyline like Eve and Rocky, but a lot of them are under utilised. They seem to be using the new actors a bit more now. I still haven't worked out what the point of Sam recently coming back for a few months was though.

I like the new knight family. The two girl actors have done alright really under the pressure of a big storyline. I think George and his wife are great castings for East End landlords, even though thry are a bit of a stereotype.

Ravi is still around.
I think that when it's a big story line a lot of the other actors then get some time off. This week has been all about the Beales and the Knights but that will change next week and their continuing drama will be interwoven with other stories going on.
There are a few on the go which are on the back burner.
Ian is bound to try and get back into businessman mode and this might include deals with the Panasers I bet. They own a few businesses and he'll be desperate for some more cash and to keep Cindy happy
I hope he keeps his hands off the Albert as that is Kathy's

I noticed George said a proper thank you to the hospital doctor. The other characters are usually angry and rude to anyone in authority, docs, police, social workers. George is what my mum would have called 'a proper man' ❤️. Good actor too.

I noticed that too about George saying thanks. George is old school!
I was taught that manners cost nothing too, but too many people are just rude or can't be bothered.

Colin salmon is a very convincing actor and been brilliant so far. You could feel the emotion at the hospital, worrying about Gina and how he is trying to hide feelings for Cindy / Rose too.
I've no doubt she'll win him over eventually , there is still something there I think

I haven’t missed Ravi at all.

I’m much more interested in how the Cindy and George story will play out. I mean, they’re probably going to have an affair so it’s kind of predictable, but the actors are doing great and it’s nice to see Cindy being vulnerable but she still has that edge. I’ve thoroughly enjoyed this week’s episodes and that’s something I rarely say about EE!

Cindy snapping at Ian like that!! She is certainly going to have him running around for her isn't she ! Lol get me a house , get me money etc.
Considering she left France with a small bag , she seemed to have nicely ironed clothes, scarves and a few accessories in her one bag!

Elaine and her floaty kaftan type clothes are no match for a ditzy dress and a sam Mitchell no nonsense jacket or rainmac.

Ian Beale is beyond repulsive 🤑. Elaine with her floaty frocks and spectacular frontage is a better bet for George. Can't see the attraction of Cindy, plus MC is a poor actor imo.

Also, what happened to George and Elaine's wedding plans? Are he and Cindyrose even divorced?

She was 'missing 'over seven years , so maybe he had her declared dead or something like that ? Spanish laws might be different though ? They must have got married over there ? Or maybe they didn't get married at all ?

I think the chemistry is clearly still there between George and Cindy. Sorry Elaine. All the low cut negligees and heaving bosoms in the world cannot match Cindy’s simpering doe eyes.

Agree so many aspects of this storyline are ridiculous. Ian was reminiscing with Freddie that he remembered him and Bobby playing together as kids in the park with sticks. I’m almost certain Little Mo left with Freddie when he was a few months old?!

Fatboys weird reappearance…could he have been working for the Fosters??

I don't recall Freddie and Bobby playing together at all , I also think Little Mo left when he was a baby (But I'd have to look it up as not sure !)
I can't believe that George had no idea at all about Rose's past , she must have invented a huge back story and explained away the lack of relatives in her life and , well , just everything really ! The girls mentioned that she told lies, but it must have been relentless lying for many years.
Plus Mary checking in on her , yet George didn't know anything was wrong ?
The day George moved into the pub , he phoned someone on the quiet , it may have been his son , but we all thought it was Rose ? That went quiet , did we find out who it was ?
The plot has more holes than we have pot holes down our road

Also, I thought the gangster Cindy grassed on was called Jackie Ford? Or was she Jackie Foster hence the family coming after Cindy being the Fosters?

I may have got Ford / Fosters mixed up there !
I'm sure they said Foster , but Mary said ford to Cindy once in France

No they were definitely divorced , he had been married to Jane (twice) and was he married to that Mandy?
