@indyocean it was like when American films have a British accent, they just do what they think it sounds like, rather than what it does sound like 🤣

Blondeshavemorefun · 24/08/2023 22:08

Likes it as well @daffodilandtulip

But then I'm easily pleased with tv stuff

finished it. so many questions.
was the cute boy(the only likeable character) at a different school?
was the daughter the baby? maybe she is older than she thinks.
really didn't like her husband. it made me feel sorry for her even though she was a murderer.

Blondeshavemorefun · 27/08/2023 10:00

@Samcro no the daughter isn't the baby

Wrong age

So where IS the baby?

I think we should have been told.

Freysimo · 02/09/2023 07:17

I think baby issue was left open for a potential second series, which now isn't happening.

It felt like different episodes had different writers. In one episode the pregnant bump was fake and was concealing smuggled drugs.

Walkingtheplank · 02/09/2023 09:24

I was also surprised that the husband's ex-wife was younger and prettier than Shelley (didn't look old enough to ve Derek's mum). A man like that would not have gone for older/less pretty.

Just got around to watching this.

I thought it was Ok although could have been better.

I suppose her husband will get away with doing nothing as only the London detective seems to be interested in solving the death of the chap that "Magpie" murdered.

Seemed that he was so relieved that she hadn't had an affair that he doesn't care that she killed someone.

Also means that she has to stay with him.

Maybe that's punishment enough?

I thought that they were both bloody awful & had no sympathy for her at all.
