I used to love this show but I am not paying for discovery plus just for this!

(Though I still follow the rainbow haired Australian girl in Instagram. And wonder what happened to the uk bloke with USA lady (think he had criminal record so couldn't move and she had a daughter plus one (not his) on the way)?

There are some other good shows on there as well.... just saying.

I'm just working my through the new episodes of before the 90 days and then I was going to switch to the love in paradise series as I've only watched the first one and enjoyed that - but now I will go to the UK S2 first - just let a few episodes build up so I can binge!

Omg! Louise and Jose. Genuinely think he may have learning difficulties although may not be obvious due to the language barrier. However she's not the sharpest knife. Can someone please tell how to pronounce Bogotá properly. Every time she says 'Bowgatta' I want to scream. Feel very sorry for her son who seems lovely and now has to share his home with some random halfwit.

Mercy and Micheal. I think she just wants to come to England but now the reality is setting in about leaving her home and family is settling in she's getting cold feet. Clacton is really going to a bit of a culture shock.

Kaydie and Alejandro this week. The British abroad really are an embarrassment. Wondering if being unable to marry in Mexico may be a blessing in disguise for Alejandro. He's got a ready made get out clause.

Can really remember the others but that woman from Eastern Europe. Awful.

Victoria and Japanese Sean seemed like a very odd set up. Apparently they cut a lot of stuff out their storyline, so maybe it would make more sense if we had the full story.
Are Emma and Hossein still married? He did not seem interested in her at all.
Did Pat ever meet her Indian toy boy?
Are Marvin and Calum married?

I think K & A are the only ones from the 1st series which seemed to end very abruptly without any updates on any of their relationship status's.

I really wanted to know what happened with Emma and Hossein. I was convinced he was gay. He really wasn't interested in her at all. Did they actually ever consummate their relationship? I know they didn't before the marriage even though she'd been to visit him previously.

Watching the new series.
Louise seems to have no common sense and is totally blinded by lust ( I don't think it can be love seeing as they can barely communicate). Again I wonder why these women do not pick up some basic Spanish before flying off to South America.

Kazakhstan Ice maiden is awful. I cannot see this lasting as she seems to want a lifestyle beyond his means, she doesn't seem to like him and she hates the daughter.

Christ, how did Louise think that he would pass the English test? He can't understand basic English. Her son seems lovely and reasonable, it's like a role reversal where she is the love struck teen and he is worried about having to support her and the new baby.

I know. I was having a discussion with my friend today about how deluded some people can be and Louise is right up there. How on Earth did she produce such a lovely intelligent son!? I couldn't believe it when she was saying I really hope he passes his English test and her said he won't and that his English is really, really basic. She turns to him and says, 'Do you really think it's that bad?'! How can she not tell?! She speaks to him in really basic pigeon English and 9 times out of 10 he doesn't understand!

I think there's a lot of wishful thinking going on. When she tried to ask him how the test had gone he said something like 'little good'. She asked him if he'd understood all the questions and he said something like '1' holding up a finger and she took it to mean there was only 1 question he didn't understand. I took it it to mean he only understood one question and seems I was properly right!

She didn't seem to see the irony of having to use google translate after the test to discuss why he'd failed and why it was an issue. I think she thinks that if she has his baby they'll let him him back in but she really is deluded. He has no income and certainly little chance of getting any work here. She doesn't seem to be in a position to support him. If they want to be together she'll have to go to Columbia.

The family meal was telling on his level of English. He was asked the most basic questions like "What's your name?", "how old are you?" and he could not understand or answer. That is usually the first things someone learns and at this stage they have been in a relationship for a while and he has been in the UK for a couple of months, so clearly he cannot be arsed to learn. Kathleen, from last season, had far better English and she failed the test.
What is likely to happen is he'll go back to Columbia, she'll be stuck here with a baby, and the son will end up picking up the pieces.
I don't see the new couple lasting very long. He thinks he is a playboy and disapproves of her belly dancing (although she could have warned him about what it entails before throwing him in at the deep end). Whatever about the dancing, I think most partners would be uneasy about customers stuffing money in her bra.
Mercy seems to have unrealistic expectations. He still needs to pay off a load of money for the 20K wedding and dowry. She also wants a honeymoon in Dubai, a big house, children, money for herself and money for hair and nails. He also has 2 kids to take care of. It doesn't look like he is on huge wages and she won't be able to work for a while.

It goes back the the fact I wonder if he learning difficulties. He's been here a while and doesn't even seem to have picked up the basics.

I don't think the belly dancer one will last as you say. I was on her side until I realised men were allowed to touch her and stuff money down her bra. I wouldn't have a problem with just straight belly dancing but the audience seemed to be made up of predominantly leering men rather than a mixed audience. It all seemed a bit sleazy and she seems like a nice girl.

Yes your partner dancing is one thing, the men touching her/dancing with her/stuffing money in her bra is another (IMHO).
Not sure if Jose has learning difficulties, the son seems to think he is just lazy and not even trying. A lot of these people do not seem to have a firm grasp on reality, the son is right saying he has a kid on the way = he needs to knock the "music career" on the head and knuckle down to get a visa and a steady job. Louise says "Oh he's just laid back" but at this stage it's irresponsible.

Jesse is such a lovely, mature young man. You can see that he has probably had to parent his mother in the past. Louise is absolutely delusional. And how can anyone find Jose attractive? He is like a giant baby and isn't even trying to grow up.

Kadie and Alejandro are lovely together. He is so patient with her family too- despite them being less than pleasant about his family.

Mercy and Michael. Red flags all around there.

Tione is a childish nightmare. Her and the Kazakhstanian woman should get together.

Louise is a very typical Gloucester girl... I live nearby and went to school there. They're a bit simple, mostly have a chronic illness/disability like fibro/chronic fatigue which means they've never worked, and they bounce from one disastrous relationship to the next with hoardes of kids dragged into the horror. She's had a walking stick a few times on camera and it's on some of her Instagram photos. Lord knows how someone on benefits can afford to fly to Columbia and bring back a man child to keep as well, let alone get pregnant a few weeks in.

Her poor son, I feel so sorry for him. And on her Instagram pages/on the show, I think she must have a young daughter as well as there's a pink room with a single bed.

On episode 4 I think, Jose and Louise getting tattooed. His little laugh is really getting on my nerves and if he starts singing chicken again I'll likely smash the TV!

Kadie and Alejandro have split according to her Instagram (I didn’t stoop so low as to look but I will happily browse the Reddit sub for gossip). This season is so poorly put together. Why introduce a new couple this week? And obviously there’s been a massive time lapse between last week and this week as Louise’s bump is huge. Her filming his music video where he’s using her cane like some sort of pimp accessory was comedy gold this week.

Yes I got very confused over the timelines with Louise and Jose. I thought she must have got pregnant in Columbia when they first met but then she said she had her coil remove when he came to England? I thought he could only stay 90 days/ 3 months ( or do they say that just to fit in with the US franchise ) but then they were having a gender reveal so must be about 20 weeks? Those two are scary and I feel so sorry for her son.

Tionne is absolutely awful. I can't stand this whole concept of being a 'princess' and getting a man to treat you like a 'princess' which translates to him buying you expensive stuff. I couldn't help thinking Tionne how about becoming financially independent, saving up to buy your own place or at least stop living with your Mum? Awful woman.

Coming to the UK on a standard tourist visa, you can stay months. So by the time of the English test/ pregnancy announcement, Jose had been there 2 months. So if she announced when she was about 4 weeks, he will be able to stay until she is about 5 months along until he has to go back.

Standard Tourist Visa is 6 months

Ah! I realised as well they are actually married too so as you say a standard tourist visa.

Does seem Katie and Alejandro are no longer together. Can't say I'm surprised. He seemed a little more fed up this serious especially after the insensitive comments from her friends and family. She seemed nice enough although not the brightest spark and he seemed to be the one having to make all the sacrifices. On a very basic level she made no attempt to learn his language.

The more they show Tionne, the more unlikeable she is. The woman is a petulant toddler.
