Was pleased to see the ones from the first series. Was wondering what happened to Emma and the Iranian bloke she married who answered his phone in the middle of the ceremony. Still convinced he's gay. Amazed they're still 'together'. Not surprised he doesn't want to come to England. Won't be surprised if doesn't in the end up.

Hussain will keep telling her that his visa has been rejected over and over again. There is no way that he will actually want to live with her, ever. He uses her for money, that's as clear as day.

With Kadie, I don't think it's right that after she moved into her new uk home, at the urging of her Instagram followers, she shared a link to her Amazon wish list. Then filming herself unwrapping all the house and dog stuff she'd been sent. Fair enough if her fans want to support her but it really doesn't feel right to me asking people to buy her things. Now people are asking if she'll share a list for baby things. She's got her own family and friends to help her out, just feels really wrong to me.

I agree I find it really odd too. I think she’s seeking fame. She mentioned in the first series having an Instagram account where she shares her weight loss etc. she’s clearly trying to set herself out as an ‘influencer’

I got the feeling Alejandro had cooled a lot when her and her entourage arrived for the wedding. I actually thought he may take advantage of the paperwork issues with the wedding and not go through with it.

Despite her 'happy, happy' persona Katie is actually a bit of a whinger, lacks self awareness and can be quite rude particularly to Alejandro's familyI really liked her at first then she really started irritating me. She looks a bit manic at times on her Instagram.

So far we have the ex body guard who is all kinds of red flags and beyond vile.
The girl fro. Southampton that is also ignoring a lot red flags and warnings from friends and family.
"Miss England" and the secret Egyptian husband. They seem to have totally different views on the future. He wants her to move to Egypt where he can have up to three wives and live in a very Conservative Muslim setting ( a tad at odds with him introducing himself while gesturing to his Penis, I would have thought). She wants to live and raise children in England.
Jamie is a massive mummy's boy and doesn't seem to know or understand what his partner wants or needs. He makes a big show of this effort that he is putting in but it's all about him and he isn't listening to her or has any empathy. There may be some ND issues at play though.
John and Sprite just seem to not trust each other, fight and want entirely different lifestyles.
Louise and Jose are back. His English is better and he has a new sing so we aren't subjected to " I love you chicken" on repeat. Raoul is adorable.

Jamie seems gay. Sprite is lovely and funny but John is weird and creepy at times. So maybe not a scam but not really a live match.

When Sprite threw the toast at John I guffawed. Top telly entertainment that! I think they’re pretending and actually quite happy together.

I watched the final video of Jose’s song on YouTube (yes, I am that tragic and invested) and it was nowhere near as bad as I thought it would be 😂

Tony with his lady -he was saying about wanting kids but she is 40? So quite unlikely to happen.

I don't see Nicole and Taher ending well. He seems rather inflexible in his views and ideas as to what will happen. He isn't listening to Nicole when she says she might not want to convert for example. He is hiding the fact that he intends to take additional wives when they come back to live in Egypt (even though she does not seem keen to live in Egypt). Marriages between different cultures are hard enough (me and my partner are from different countries/cultures) but if you don't communicate clearly and hide your intentions, it's a road to disaster.
Nicole clearly wants a life in the UK where future children would be raised with UK norms (being able to have friends of the opposite sex for example).
He wants a Muslim life in Egypt, with kids and wife following the norms there. He wants her to convert. He wants to take on additional wives.
These 2 life paths are incompatible, they either are open with each other and find some kind of middle ground or they should divorce and find partners that are more suited to them.

But they do seem to fancy each other /be similar ages / attractiveness/no huge power imbalance.

Whereas most of the rest of the couples give me ick vibes..

I've been watching this - this series seems a bit more staged than usual, but still enjoying it (though could do without Jamie and Kafleen!).

It's been very annoying what they've been doing with the Charlotte/Johan wedding - it's been in every teaser the whole 'no Johan', burning the wedding dress etc, so it feels like not a lot of point watching their story. I suspect that he does turn up to get married but that something goes wrong afterwards, as she was back home burning the dress. But not sure why they have portrayed it the way they have.

Nui needs to get far away from Tony, what a creep. Proper psycho vibes on that one.

Sprite has grown on me and needs a medal for putting up with John. I too think their relationship is a lot stronger than what is shown.

Taher most definitely wants to come and work in the UK, all that talk about staying in Egypt is just for the camera. He is from a poor background and she is his ticket out of it.

Johan is only 21 years old and his whole family relies on his income so I doubt Charlotte is the only woman he is talking to, usually Dominican boys will target old American women. But the women can see his situation, his family didn't even have a roof over their head until she paid for it and it's leaking. He is young and desperate and they can barely communicate.

As for Tony, he is scary and abusive, she is scared to be around him when he drinks.

Jose and his family are just lovely, he makes me laugh.

Tony has more red flags than I can count at this stage.
He got all defensive and aggressive when she raised concerns about them staying at airbnb instead of his place.
He got all nasty while cooking.
He got drunk despite her telling him she was uncomfortable around him when he drank to much and abandoned her when she didn't know how to get back to their place, is in an unfamiliar country/town and does not speak the language well. Then when she did come back he did the arsehole move at the door. Before kicking her out.

I lived in Ecuador and married a Colombian - Jose definitely while sweet and child like has a real deficient of some kind. Colombians usually speak quite fast - he is really slow. Language is very simple - often people w different challenges do work and are in society but are treated w more patience. Seems spectrum to me or more . It is not a language barrier - he truly has difficulty. Picking up a new language will be much harder and being funny may not always cut it .
