Never thought I’d say this but I think even Sammy is fitter than the new guy.

I thought the new girl was really cringe; laying it on thick. And a total pick me girl. The way she talks literally set my teeth on edge.

I don’t know what the hell is going on with Abi but getting total bunny boiler vibes. She seemed totally manic when she was talking to Jess and Mitch last night. How can she not see that she’s been doing exactly the same getting to know Scott. Unfortunately for her I think Mitch will be interested in Ella. He hasn’t had that many girls interested in him so I think he’ll lap up all the attention he can get!

It does feel like this year has had a bit more action than the last couple of years to me - more shock dumpings and things, which is good, I think it's felt far too safe over previously with too many opportunities for islanders to save OGs / their friends.

I wouldn't say that there's any couples I'm rooting for though. I love Whitney, and think her and Lochan like each other, but not really invested in the pairing. Zach and Molly are boring, I think Molly is one of those people that will just always come off as really insincere, no matter what she does - I get the same feeling from Alexandra Burke and always have. I think Zach's card was marked as soon as she went back in and he's just put up and shut up.

Amber just seems too young to be there in all honesty. Gorgeous girl, but I'd believe you if you said she was 15/16.

I’ve surprised myself by preferring this season to any of the two or three I’ve watched before. Thought the participants were almost universally ghastly at first, but most have improved, or at least proved entertaining.

Possibly it’s because this is the first I’ve watched without rigid racial segregation amongst couples. That has made it a hundred times more enjoyable. And Ty is 😍 to look at. Jess, a bit of a revelation. And Whitney is a star.

Though why the producers thought that any high profile Insta-girl would be interested in an obscure gas fitter is a mystery to me …

@mrstea301 see I get the insincere thing with Molly. I assumed it's because I've spent far too much time with aspiring soap stars and musical theatre students that she naturally gets my heckles up. But I just don't believe anything she says.

The ridiculous scrunched up face when she saw Kady at the recouping... plus her eyeline is always off. I get the feeling (as she's used to performing) she's always on the look out for cameras and best angles.

Meh like I said. Drama students are my nemesis but I get a very insincere feel from her. Which annoys me as I've grown to like zach. He's funny and humble and quick to support others. He's still not my cup of tea but i like him the most out of all the boys.

Mitchel and his public persona of 'yeah I'm fine with her chatting to Scott' and then to Abi 'you chatted too long. I won't tolerate this forever you know' is creepy as. Super super controlling and intense. Reminds me of Luca in a bad way.

Just caught up after being away for a few days. I loved the shocked look at Catherine that she was dumped. I liked her initially and was hoping she'd make it to the final but the way she turned on Scott was awful, she showed her true colours and couldn't keep up the nice girl pretence for long.

I also imagine her professional dancing is done wrapped round a pole. Though Mitches eyes popped open (either in list or cos he was scared) when she was describing the 'needle' move to him last night.

It's like she came in and verbally spewed all her sexy chat in one go in her haste to prove she's desirable.

I'm so cheered that lovely-but-dim Jess has twice now said 'Maybe Sammy is the problem'. You can sense that the penny is close to the edge and may or may not drop 😁I really really hope she comes to the right answer.

Agree it was top producing. I loved the fact that there was no warning of the first dumping, just 'catherine and montel, off you fuck 😂'. Today I keep thinking about the light gradually dawning for Catherine as she reads the comments about her really shit treatment of Scott online (or I guess more likely her manager's debrief).

It was hilarious when Kady said to S and A 'you're not even a couple' and was shushed by everyone 'It's not the time'. I can't believe that none of them have been able to work out that the public were voting against the bullies rather than for the most compatible couple - even if they're not told exactly when the public voted, it should have been easy to work out what was the most recent big event (ie movie night) before the vote.

I feel really bad that Lochan gives me the ick, because he seems like the best man there and a generally lovely guy - but he's gotJamie Oliver's jaw formation/massive tongue thing going on and I can't get over it. Or maybe I mean Quentin Tarantino, you know the mouth thing. Equally, as a feminist am also very ashamed that his emoting is making me cringe. You'd def wake up and he'd be stroking your face and you'd realise you could never have sex with him again.

Yeah me too - I think he's often genuinely intentionally funny (the upgrade joke was quite good) and cocky in a comic way, and sometimes it's accidental. He's like a cocky six year old boy, in a good way.

It's weird that Abi seems to be constructing him as a player because he went after all the bombshells - he just had to get a girl to like him didn't he? Anyone!

Abi seemed like a typically sunny posh-for-Herts girl at first but this is a bit nuts. I think she's manufacturing a reason for leaving Mitch and going for Scott without the public hating her.

I’m surprised Ella2 hasn’t gone for Scott knowing how popular he is, I think she’ll steal Mitch to get some more time and work on Ty. She really was laying it on, Mitch loved it and Ty looked like he was thinking oh no you’re trouble!

Also annoyed that Jess hit the nail on the head about sammy being the problem then laughed, Sammy knew it was true!

And yes, Abi is a hypocrite, who knows what’s going on in her head
