I don't understand why all these middle aged (at least) brides want to dress up like sacrificial virgins and blow a fortune on wedding number 2, 3 or 4. The prospect of a bleached and kippered Sharon in a white frock and veil is grim. All the mature brides I've know have opted for a low key affair with a reception at the local pub.
