Haha Reiss will spend his wife’s money on IVF - I can’t predict whether the writers will work or not - but then she’ll wake up, her bank account cleared and Reiss with his new lady (and if Sonia is pregnant, even more dramas). Will Reiss have a harem?

I hope Ben's therapist has cleared her appointments for the foreseeable future, then.

Perhaps Phil should use his magic money safe for the benefit of Ben and the entire community: an intensive treatment programme at a long-stay residential.
Have Ben work through all his complicated issues under professional guidance, off-screen...

He could return many months later a reformed, happier character, to his own and our relief. Would also give poor Max Bowden some respite from so much constant misery!

Would actually make for a good storyline, as we follow how Ben copes with inevitable slip-ups. But in a (mostly) healthier way. Would he be able to resist falling back into old habits etc? Very occasional aggro reappears, as a squeaky clean Ben would be dull.

Most importantly, he finally has the confidence to stand up to Phil and mean it.

Nice twist would be Phil then having to curry favour with him, recognising he's at risk of losing any remaining respect from seen-the-light Ben if his old power games over his son continue. On re-integrating back home, Ben turns to George as his mentor/reliable father figure, channels any inner turmoil into becoming top-class boxer, winning adulation and success...and yet always prioritises Lexi and Callum.

Ha! Pigs can fly and all that.

Though Phil does seem mellower these days, IMO.

First two ridiculous blackmailings, then two characters trying to find a parent and now two couples wanting to have children.

@ReverseFerret I'm calling that Debbie had some eggs stored before the coma, there's the inevitable mix up at the fertility clinic, Reiss then runs away with the baby that Sonia carried hidden in his trombone.

Reiss didn't really answer Sonia as to why he had a fertility test done , but clearly Debbie also wanted children too I assume
She's bound to wake up once Sonia is pregnant with his child with her money !

Sonia could sell the house to raise the money instead , although they would still have to buy something else I suppose and moving away from Walford never seems an option to the Walford crowd generally ( not unless they are being written out of the soap )

Wasn't there speculation on here that Reiss appeared around the time Sonia inherited the house? That house would be worth £1mill plus I guess. My mad plot theory is that Sonia will mortgage house to pay for IVF/pay off Debbie, who isn't really in a coma but is in league with Reiss to fleece Sonia.
