IRL Kat and Phil would have just quietly gone to the registry office by now surely. They tried a nice church wedding which didn’t work out and have been married about a dozen times between them. It was funny when Phil was reminiscing about his wedding to Kathy, I find it hard to believe they were ever husband and wife!

A lot of the more unrealistic storylines are just for plot purposes, so it is stupid to think anyone would take the word of an ex , especially one who has already fleeced you to get the pet parrot back.
I'd like to think most people wouldn't take Jo's word as gospel and actually do the right thing , but as he has already lost the Greek honeymoon , I suppose he feels he can't do anything.
Most Eastenders I've known over the years have lots of nouce and common sense , but it is lacking with a lot of the characters here.
They are blackmailed weekly over things there can control and get into almighty scrapes !

Bobby converted and wore traditional Islamic clothing for one episode and then it was never mentioned again. I've never heard mention of him fasting during Ramadan, celebrating Eid, attending Friday prayers or doing anything else remotely related to Islam.

Yeah I don't know anyone in the area of East London I live in who would fall for the nonsense EE's characters get caught up in. Keanu robbing a safe to give to his child's grandmother cash so he can gain access to said child. It doesn't even make sense😂 A child he cares so much about he hasn't bothered to visit since she was born...and how does that random wad of cash make a long term difference. He should set up proper maintenance and then get agreed regular access (court ordered if needed) during the school holidays etc. It's all ridiculous. In a city with thousands of companies literally crying out for workers this healthy, albeit dimwitted, 20 something man could not find a job for months and now 'manages' an empty garage that never has customers.
