I'm surprised they didn't have Noah be Marlon's son to give him something to focus on.

Well that was a bit of lighter entertainment than current Emmerdale!

I went down a wilki trip though to see when Sarah is born.
Quite shocked that that will all be happening soon !

I forgot that Victoria and Harry are adoptive relatives of her .
They have no interactions at all

They have no

bizzey · 16/08/2023 01:03

Well I say soon...
My maths calculations work it out at bout 7 months !!

JaneJeffer · 16/08/2023 01:05

No the Sugdens never had anything to do with Sarah and Jack even when Andy was around despite them being named after their parents and everything! I think Emmerdale have forgotten Jack even exists now too.

Classic is so much more realistic. People actually go to work and do stuff and cook food and go to each other's houses which look lived in. Everything is so basic nowadays.

And they have pets.

The young vicar seems over interested in Debbie

No light in the Sugden's fridge!

The young vicar seems over interested in Debbie

When he first appeared I had a feeling I vaguely remembered something between them.
But I didn't watch much at this point first time around so could be wrong.

JaneJeffer · 16/08/2023 13:59

Ashley agrees with me Grin

Jesus Katie do you ever take responsibility for your own actions?

I was shocked to find out that Val is younger than me. Even in Classic she looks older than I do now.

Chloe seems to have turned into an absolute cow. She seems to think she's God's gift and every man should be desperate to go out with her. I can't remember what happened to her in the end.

Diane is 12 years older than Val in real life!

OP posts:
RaraRachael · 17/08/2023 11:29

I'd say they look much closer in age than that. Maybe Val had a harder paper round.

I think she's one of those people who look older than they are when they're young but stay looking that age forever so end up looking younger eventually! She looked practically the same when she was killed off.

OP posts:
RaraRachael · 17/08/2023 11:51

Yes that's very true @JaneJeffer whereas some people look young for ages then suddenly age quickly - I'm trying to think of an Emmerdale example but can't!

JaneJeffer · 17/08/2023 14:12

Poor Charity got rightly stitched up by the Tates

This reminds me of why I loathe the Dingles so much- 2 bit tinky thugs, not loveable rogues.
