I've just watched this episode today and TJ was so cute. The look he gave Bob was brilliant. He's such a cutie.

And little Noah rooting for milk made me all nostalgic

Got all my jobs done, laid on couch with cat on top of me for our usual afternoon's entertainment only to find it's not on till 3.50 - and then only one measly episode.

I’ve not caught up yet but I need to tell you this hot insider gossip! 20 years later. I was on the phone to my friend and he’s a massive patsy kensit fan… he gets that I’m cross with her in emmerdale but I’m not allowed to say anything mean because it’s Patsy. He also gets my fury with Steph… gossip! His mum was a seamstress and she made Lorraine Chases costumes, she had a 23 and a half inch waist but not much in the top bit, so costumes would have to have a sort of vest panel sewn in. she would always come for a fitting and have a cup of tea and choose what buttons she wanted to go on the jackets. She also always brought biscuits! She would take the cups back to the sink! I love that. Steph taking the cups back.

Jane… I don’t know what I was more in awe of… the ultimate choice of buttons on her outfits? The fact she brought biscuits? Or that she took her cups to the sink? The 23 and a half inch waist is just what I would expect! He did say that she would cackle and let tidbits of show biz goss about story lines out at the time but it was a given it wouldn’t be leaked. Not like today, she would have been outed on formerly known as Twitter X. I always loved Lorraine Chase with her Campari ads and her northern voice but her cheekiness and THEN being the awful awful hateful Steph!

I think it’s like Viv, awful character but amazing actress. I don’t think we get the same equivalent today very often.

This dinner party is class though

The dinner party was really good back and forth funny dialogue, Viv and Bob are great comedy characters and when they aren’t forcing the bromance with Paddy so is Marlon. I’m glad Val is back and I’m looking forward to the Christmas episodes with her and Diane. I’m trying to figure out what the big story is likely to be? Possibly something to do with Andy and Debbie? Or could there be a showdown with Gervais and Len and the home brew ignites with Gervais still trapped in the potting shed?

So many of the cast could act back then, even the kids. Now those who can act are in the minority especially among the youngsters.

I'd actually stopped watching by this point so no help as regards the big Christmas story.
