No @JaneJeffer it's all very tedious and dragging on far too long.
I'm not that keen on the Kings or the factory stuff either.
It must be close to the point where I gave up. I often ask myself why I started again 😁

I do find my attention wandering too, RaraRachael. If I miss something, I don't make the effort to rewind to watch again. I think I'd stopped watching by this point when it was first shown, because I don't remember much of it at all.

Did feel sorry for Zoe today. I think Leah Bracknell(?) played the role very well.

I have checked my recordings ....and I have the whole week to get through

Just back from a few days away so have binge watched this week's episodes.
I know I moan a lot about current Emmerdale but I don't think I've seen such rubbish stories and terrible acting as this week's jolly to Scarborough.

I've missed the whole week

I still have the whole week to do as well !!
Needless to say ...I did not bother doing the ironing.
So therefore I could not justify watching 5 hours of Emmerdale!

Cleaned and blitzed the whole of the upstairs...it was immaculate !

Then a lump of ceiling fell down and I am now back to square one with mess ....and a big black mark on the carpet 😔😭😭😭 !

And workmen coming in next week ....hate having people in my home. 😭🤣🤣!

Oh no @bizzey that sounds awful!

During said cringeworthy episodes, Diane revealed she had bowel cancer. What really made me cross was that something as serious as this was shoehorned into some utter face involving half the village going to Scarborough and stupid stories involving Marlon hurting his arm, Victoria winning a real donkey, various misunderstandings and to crown it all, Nicola trying to win Simon back.

That makes me feel better about my FOMO

bizzey that's really annoying, I had similar once when I had just gotten the sitting room spotless and the hoover exploded, dust all over the place! Fecking housework

Well I caught up with all the episodes ...and quite enjoyed them 😁.!

Though obviously am a bit biased as my little baby Jean was in in a lot of them on the Monday and Tuesdays ones 🤣🤣.

Brilliant scene in the shop when Viv is holding Jean and Jean is playing with Viv's necklace....
Donna appears , Jean turns to look at her ...and just looks her up and down ..gives her a dirty look ...shakes head ....and goes back to Viv's necklace 🤣🤣!

Ohh and to add to @RaraRachael synopsis...
Zoe is back in hospital.She went willingly and didn't need to be sectioned.

That's the whole week ( ?= 2 weeks of then real time ?)

I must be stone cold heartless in my old age because I'm finding the Diane scenes really irritating. The being all moody instead of just telling her nearest and dearest, when it was originally aired it must have dragged out for weeks.
I need more Jean and Victoria scenes 🙂

@bizzey Glad you enjoyed them, I don't generally enjoy their attempts at "comedy". I can watch a current episode and think "What a load of old shite" and then read on Instagram that it was "comedy gold".

I'm obviously getting to be a miserable old fart!

I enjoyed Bob and TJ in the shop

I was so impressed at the Scarborough scenes ...I looked it up to see just how awkward it was to get to from where we are ...

Long story short ...the boys were interested as well...

And we are planning a trip to York ( which had always been on our list !)
Scarborough and Whitby...
