I don't think EE can let this go unpunished surely though because people ( rightly or wrongly ) do take their ideas from the tele and there are plenty of parents out there going through these type of access battles

The whole plot was just ridiculous

Speaking of Lucy, it still bugs me that when she died it was never discovered that she had a pre-existing head injury (she fell and hit her head in the car lot office I think? Max was involved somehow). I was sure that at some point it would be revealed that Bobby's blow to her head on its own wouldn't have been enough to kill her.

The odd thing is though , Keanu hasn't done this for money , but more an escalation of a situation he could have avoided completely by just being honest. Most mums would have told him to do one early doors, but Karen has never liked Sharon and Keanu is her favorite child so she just went along with it. Completely unbelievable on every level , but coming up with new and different stories can't be easy and with the flash forwards episode coming up next month they probably had to find a way of them both getting married quite quickly.
It is a ridiculous story though.

Yes. The coroner would have done an autopsy on Lucy ? She already had a blow to her head before Bobby hit her with the music box

I think the shooting was the first time Stephen injured he stabbed her in the reasturant then set the kitchen on fire!

I just think the writers couldn’t be bothered to think of a decent exit story for Karen. I expect she’ll be gone by the end of the month.

re Lucy hadn't she been bashed about all day before bobby hit her. I'm sure Denise gave her a slap about the head too.

Yes , it was very "An Inspector Calls" where they all had a hand in bumping off poor Lucy but only one person dealt the fatal blow .

In the big reveal where Jane was standing at the bottom of the stairs and Ian said something like "It's YOU " then the camera panned back to reveal little Old Head Bobby

Yes probably was a gunshot not a stabbing , I know it was her abdomen which rendered her infertile so she could never forgive Steven for robbing her of the chance to be a mum.

Cufflinks could well be Nish. He appointed himself as leader in the hunt for Albie but this is the only link I can see with Sharon so far so I suppose she might go into business with him. Better hurry up!

It's a shame we won't get to see Karen at Ken and Sharon's wedding buffet with her Tupperware containers though...

Ohhhh and just read what was mentioned some posts back about Albie needing blood tests and revealing some condition that requires parents to also be tested...

Apparently, Sharon gets Ken to propose to her in the Vic and Karen is so annoyed!
They get a call about the blood tests from the hospital. I can't think what they have found :(
Maybe he has some kind of rare disease or something like that ?

I can only think that Ken isn't Albies dad ! It's Phil's instead.
Which means Ken will go off to track down Peggy and Louise instead ( with any luck)

But they’re getting married next month. Maybe Sharon will keep it a secret until the new year?

What I don't get is why the police asked for Albie to have blood tests in the first place? Is that standard procedure after a kidnapping or what?!?

Also, Sharon was more than happy to have them stick a needle in Albie's arm, but she didn't want to talk to the kid about who he was with all this time 🙄

I read ( on Facebook) that they do bloods to check for infections / HIV :(
Awful to think of such a thing , but it must be a procedure they have to do in these situations.
Poor soul. I know it's not real , but it's sad that children are taken and all the other nasties that must go on in real life.
