I watched it all yesterday ( always do my catch up on a Thursday)

I found myself quite liking Theo before he revealed himself to be Stacey's stalker , when she was saying "I can't believe you're single " he was quite relaxed and smiling . (Bit like a shark before it bites you )

I'm also watching Classic - Kat and Alfies Wedding on the Christmas Day .
Kat and Sharon and Sam look so different ! Even allowing for the years .

DD didn't know half of the characters ( Dennis, Dirty Den, Vicky, Kate , Minty )

Kate had a fling with Dennis then Den (when Chrissie famously ruined her hair )
Zoe was trying to keep Dennis and Den suggested he got her pregnant <barf>
DD was gobsmacked at these storylines

I remember Minty ! I also loved Heather too.
Alfie moon was very dishy back in the day. Always had a soft spot for him

Phil was with jill halfpenny ( can't remember characters name )
She was an undercover policewoman

Yes she was Kate - undercover police who worked under the guise of a Nail Tech- she has "SophistiKates"

She was Martin Platt's OW in Coronation Street
And in Waterloo Road (according to DD- I've never watched it)

Every soap actor seems to have been in (depending on age)

The actors are recycled arnt they.
Best one was old head Peter Beale being Roger taylor in the bohemian rhapsody film!
One actress was in casualty last week who was in EE in 2010 as Libby fox's Nan.
It's amazing how many actors have worked on EE over the years

I always thought Phil looked a bit like Phil Collins in his younger days

The Slater dynamics have always confused me a lot : how they are all related I've no idea
When Jean was introducing baby Charli to everyone i was so confused ! Lol

Jeans husband and Charlie slater were brothers so Jean is Aunty to Kat and the rest of it is ridiculous why freddie is calls Jean Nan is ridiculous!

But they are all Faaahmily etc etc 😃

Even if people put up ' family trees ' on here or the other thread !!

It is still great Mind Olympics to see two characters and work out how they are related , either by marriage , family or had a thing going on.

I'm confused about who is related to who most of the time and I've watched since the very first episode. I think an Eastenders book that contains pull out or pop up family trees with photos would be a good idea and I'd buy it. It could be a big coffee table book.

I would defo buy a coffee table familllyyy tree book of EE characters!
Someone with more design flare than I have needs to do this ( or pitch it to the bbc)

I can actually ' see 'the cover with Phil and co on different branches ! The background would be the iconic river scene etc

I could write the book and be a millionaire by Christmas

It'd be a bit like the map of the London Underground with names and different coloured lines between characters (married /cousin/brother/sister/engaged /neice/nephew /shagged/has a child with ....)

Jean is Freddie's Great-Aunt but maybe that's too complex for him . His lift does not go to the top floor !

Was Jean's husband, Charlie Slaters brother, ever in EE?

I can't recall Jeans husband being a character in the show. I think he died long before Jean was in it , but I know this isn't any barrier in EE land!
