I love Karen she was a bit ott to start with but she settled in and she's like a "real " person. Also I hope whitney finds happiness however the writers hate Whitney so probably not miserable right to the end!

I'm gutted Karen is leaving - she's a much more real person than many. Not so bothered by Whitney as she's probably run her course - what else could they put that poor girl through!

Oh I'm sad Whitney and Karen are leaving. I really really hope Whitney gets a strong, happy ending

It was subtly done but Theo programmed the last message to send from 'Edmond' on a time delay. So when Stacey originally opened the door she was not going to let him in. Then the message from 'Edmond' popped up while Theo was there-so she assumed it couldn't be him. That was why she let him in.

Oh I didn't spot the late delivery of the message oh he's an absolute creep!

I noticed that too. So manipulative of him! I really hope Martin sorts him out 😉

I wonder if Whit has sights on a singing career? She did a passable solo spot at the British Legion Remembrance Service if I remember.

Hasn't she left before to try singing?

I can't think of anyone who has left EE and gone on to a lasting career anywhere else. The Square is the kiss of death career wise it seems.

Susan Tully (Michelle Fowler) is a successful Director.

I really like Whitney, but she's past her best.
Putting her with Zak was not good.

Nasty Karen got axed. She's a decent actor when given a chance.

I think Hamish Patel has recently had the most success. Lead actor in a film 'Yesterday', co staring with Leo 'don't look up' and I think had done a few successful tv series on Apple TV too.

Of course! How could I have forgotten him. He's done really well. I hated him in EE, thought he was a shocking actor. It's only since I've seen him in other things that I realised he was actually acting (!) and it was the character was wooden, not the actor! 😁

I think Louise Mitchell (can't remember the actors name) has also got quite a big follow up gig.

She was in the latest season of You on Netflix @Hollyisalrightactuallysorry - maybe that'll lead to bigger things, but I wouldn't say a big star just yet!

Compared to Coronation Street, the Eastenders star don't seem to do nearly as well (& Neighbours is the juggernaut for creating mega stars!)

They are giving Reiss some great comedy lines lately.

My favourite the other night (yesterday?) was "It's a monkey Sonia, a very aggressive monkey" 😂

I just read Karen is going to die, not sure if that's true or not.
Seems a bit unfair there's been a lot of death recently!
