'Rosie Yates is now 13 and is starting to display increasingly challenging emotional and physical behaviour, veering wildly from joyous obsessions with the letter X, tigers with Xs on their nose, ticket barriers and Fedex lorries to sudden violent outbursts directed at both her parents and herself.
The family realise that Rosie is simply struggling to cope with the onset of puberty, just like any other teenage girl. Whilst the family deal with a teenage Rosie, their geneticist calls with news of Rosie’s condition.'

I’ve now finished series 2 and the special episode. Wow. So moving ❤️

Miley Locke is a wonderful actress. The way she interacted with Joey at the end. It would make sense that she’d spent time with her to research the role, as suggested by a pp.

I even liked the way Rosie’s coat was all chewed up like the sleeves of many of the kids in my class. A little touch of realism.

I'm just working my way through this series now, it's very good, I've laughed and cried.

I think how the writers have managed to capture the difficulties and challenges in caring for Rosie but also the humour and love is really well done.

Omg the last episode 😭 I cried all the way through it!!
