Loving all the sewing pins puns!

I’d hate to be televised and under time pressure when sewing, but the friendships the bees have (among their cohort and with previous series contestants too) look so lovely it might almost be worth applying.

Ooh just zipping along. I've been catching up on the last two episodes.

I loved Mia's crocheted outfit.

I’ve only just been able to watch this weeks, busy with DD on Weds.

Wasn’t that impressed tbh, I’d have preferred them to make bags from tops, rather than tops from bags - and tbh wasn’t keen on any of the crochet outfits, maybe a crochet accent/addition to an outfit, but not the whole thing.

I finished my episode one inspired backpack! Used it today for a very long walk with a stop at the beach in the middle, so it was carrying swimming kit / sunscreen / bug spray etc. it was super comfy and felt really sturdy. I’m really quite proud of myself for doing it 😊

It’s lined in the same leafy fabric - the pattern also wanted me to use that for the straps and hanging loop, but I decided to keep that in the main red fabric and I’m glad I did as it’s made the straps thick and therefore very comfy for a long day. It’s easiest the best thing I’ve ever made in terms of it turning out as the pattern said it should 😂

That looks amazing! I'm aiming to get mine finished by the end of the series - if it's anything as good as your's I'll be well chuffed.
