Amazing how Max went from collapse to randy in such a short time and with so little medication to pep him up.

I did wonder if he would end up collapsing while 'with' Donna as a way of his illness being made public knowledge.

No Max is A Dr and Clinical Lead so has more responsibility than Dylan and Stevie. Charlie is still there, you see him every now and again clinging on to something for stability.

I wondered that too. If carrying a child 50 metres caused him to be weak and doing CPR caused him to collapse, I'm not sure how he's survived 2 nights of passion with Donna. He must be a very passive lover!

I think the next episode will start with an ambulance pulling up outside Donna’s house and progress to a half-dressed Donna trying to explain to Sah and Jan why the clinical lead is erect and dead in her bedroom.

That’s how Dylan will come to find out too.

I love Kate Williams. She is always good and I hope we’re going to see a lot more of her. Family members of the main characters are usually very tedious so I hope she can buck the trend.

I remember Kate Williams from Eastenders, she was Denise's mil, Libby's grandmother. She's a good actress. I think she was pretending to be rude as Max asked her not to speak to Jodie.

Glad Faith got caught out, hopefully this is the end of this storyline.

I'm not liking Max and Donna 🙄🙄🙄 I was just about coping by fast forwarding Donna's parts but now I'm missing the lovely Max's scenes. Although glad she's not with Dylan, I'd hate having to ff his parts.

They're ruining Teddy, he was so likeable, why do they ruin characters. Are we getting another money problem story line with Rida?

Yes but he had nothing to do with her growing up and his Mum has never met her until the last episode.

Reminds me of Rita from years ago, she was with Iain but they broke up because she lied about having been married to a man who groomed his teenage student, I think? I don't think she ever stole drugs, but Connie was doing that around that time and Charlie got the blame and was shipped off to the convenient next door mental health unit which has never been mentioned again - Connie never had any issues from it and everything went back to normal. I'm sure that will happen again here, right?

Can I just say thank you for making me laugh with your description of Charlie! I started watching casualty again during covid and found this thread recently. I've loved reading your views on the show and was particularly pleased when the major haemorrhage protocol was activated a couple of episodes ago as it felt like we'd missed this for a few weeks.

I loved the last episode - power failures, babies born to unsuspecting mothers in lifts, attempted child abductions, surgery by headlight, a Jesus wannabe and Faith FINALLY getting her comeuppance. It was good stuff! I just hope she doesn't take Stevie down with her. Oh and max and Donna are just bleurgh. Poor Dylan with his terrible dodgy hair.

I actually really like his hair, liked when he had that style a few years back and like it now haha!
