With Curtis confirmed as returning I wonder if they’ll introduce any other teens etc at the school, otherwise it’s just JJ, Dex and Nell right? With Jane headteachering.

Ooo sneaky Nell, I know she’s probably going to annoy me but I’ve got to admit that it’s understandable why she’d behave like this. Looked like she was potentially getting Mel a job with Paul in the preview?

Defo seems like it’s Andrew that JJ thinks was the sperm donor now he knows where they’re from originally!

The boys look the same age but could easily be a year apart so three school years would be enough of a spread with a few friends to bring it back. I also wonder if Susan will return

I'm really struggling to adapt to the new series. Is anyone else feeling the same?

Yeah, I watched 2 and can't be arsed. I'm only here for an update on our own Lou and Harold.

Yes I can't get on board with Toadie and Therese there is no chemistry at all whereas Paul and Therese just seemed to be right. I don't like the much older Nell and Hugo either. Only two years has supposed to have passed but the children are much older than that.
And there are too many new characters all at once. Previously when new characters were introduced there was only one family at a time. This time it's like a cast of mainly new people and there are too many to feel any connection with

I'm enjoying it, it feels weird cos they're still backsplaining so much

Waiting for the new family to decide they're moving in, Nell will have a crush on JJ, everyone will think JJ has a crush on Sadie and then he'll accidentally let it out he can't because she's his sister....

Other new one is Haz but I assume we'll learn more a bit later on.

Ryan Maloney looks like he is over the moon to get his hands on Rebekah and some saucy looks between them !
I think they have way more chemistry than Toadie and Melanie -literally zero or Therese and Paul .
Agree about Nell and Hugo though

I'm quite enjoying it. It doesn't feel quite right just yet though.

I thought Chloe and Elly were coming back, I wonder how they'll fit in.

I've had my fill of Harold. Never liked the character so hopefully this will be the last we see of him.

I’m enjoying Susan’s latest internal crisis and the random jewellery buying addiction. Typical Karl not to notice her wearing fancy new bracelets.

I saw an old episode today where toadie was round at Therese's after she had a relapse to keep an eye on her, and they seemed so much more comfortable together then than they do now. But to be honest, I'm finding all the acting a bit disjointed and wooden. Although I wonder if it's kind of like when I returned from maternity leave. I kind of remembered what I used to do but needed a while to get back into the swing of things.

He's probably the right age to have had a Sophie crush 😂😂

I'm so glad it's back! I agree it feels a wee bit clunky still and the sets are a bit bright yet washed out, but I think we'll quickly settle right back into the neighbours we know and love!
I love Trevor, it's so lovely having a huge hairy beast on the street. I'm not enjoying Mackenzie I'm afraid, she's overacting and too frenetic, it's particularly obvious when she's talking to Sadie.
I like the Varga-Murphys so far, looking forward to their roles developing.
Am so sad to see Susan and Karl so frosty, it's like watching my parents arguing!
I'm missing original Nell who seemed so young and innocent but the new older character wouldn't have suited her at all so I can see why they recast.
Leo and Abigail haven't had much screen time yet and Reece is so wooden!
Glad it's back, wish we got 5 days. Looking forward to seeing it grow .

Do we think Jane is ill? She's acting a bit weird

I rewatched the first few episodes with my dd. She cannot accept toadie and terese and was straight in twitter to see what was being said 😂

I noticed that jane says “while we still can” when she’s talking to the new family in her house about going to the U.K. so I wonder too if they’ll make her ill and leave to tie in with mike not being in it.

Also in the Kennedy’s house there’s a black and white framed photo on the alcove wall. Who is that?! A man with a moustache.

I’m here from the other thread for the spoilers! Does anyone know what the necklace plot is all about? I’m really enjoying Therese and Toadie together now, after being unsure at the beginning, they’re both good people ergo deserve to be happy. If Mel or Paul mess it up now I’m going to be annoyed.

Reece saw a necklace in Lassiters lost property that seemingly is a matching half of a necklace she has, and went to find it - the two fit together.
I have read somewhere else (sorry can't remember where) that we discover she is staying in town because of her sister.
And I'm guessing because the necklaces are two halves that fit together, that they will be long lost sisters/separated at birth/one adopted? And therefore it will be someone we know?
Could she be Teresa's sister and Terese doesn't know? Melanie is due to come back, could she somehow be Melanie's secret sister. I also heard Shazza, a 1990s character (Bronwyn's sister), is about to make a guest return appearance, perhaps it's her?

Thanks @HoHoHoliday . There aren't that many women of a similar age on Neighbours are they? And they can't do a long lost daughter storyline on top of the JJ and his dad one. Shame there is no episode on a Friday!

No, that's a pretty big age gap. Mischa is what 37 but I reckon she's playing younger. Terese is 49 so feasible but we know a lot about her teenage years etc. Melanie is 58. She was 22 when she started Neighbours and there's a 21+ age gap, so she could be Mischa's Mom? Might explain why she can't be a step Mom

Wonder if her sister is roxy or Harlow? I think I saw Harlow has finished in hollyoaks now.
