These scene with Toadie and Mel makes no sense. Not just the 6th wedding comment but who's he wrapping a present for? Maybe there's a second wedding where he married Mackenzie. But also thier whole body language etc.

And I think it's shit on the kids. How many '"mother figures" have they had and now he's on to another

I think the Mel comment was clumsy but maybe it’s just her trying to shame Toadie as he’s almost at 6?

I just can’t see how we got here!

I’m annoyed the rumours were true it just sounded so preposterous!

There has to be some elaborate plot for why they've got married - can't be that they've just moved on , it's got to be a ploy to draw someone out of hiding or something ?!

The whole wedding thing was just odd. I’m not sure I’m going to stick with it but will wait a few more episodes

aren;t they a better age match? both around late 40s? - i remember her from home and away when i was younger.
he is born Nov 79 making him 43 and her 49. Stefan is 64.
so i can see them as a match. he is a lawyer isn't he? so a match for a business woman.

And i thought Mike was going to propose, hence his comment to his daughter. if dying, Jane would stay with him until the end i imagine (and he'd have died off screen).

This is what I was wondering. Maybe something David related???

What happened to David? He killed that bloke and went to prison for some time but I can't remember if there was an outcome.

David and Aaron actors have been seen on set right? Not sure on whether it will be permenant though as they were writing David out before it got cancelled

Well Ive just watched episode 1 and WTF was that all about.....Terese and Toady .... what, when , where and how 🤪🤪🤪

Having seen the episode and read the quote, it seems to be real 😩 Why would they do this?????

Even though I saw the spoiler comments suggestions about this I'm still like WTF!!
Seriously, this episode is all kinds of weird... why is Daniel back to support Paul? Why are Toadie and Mel in the house together?
Just so many whys!!

See if it wasn't for Mel, I can actually see Toadese as a pair. There were scenes when she was helping with the foundation when I thought there could be something there. She needs to lighten up, she'll be good with the kids, BUT this right after he married Mel just makes him look like a Toad and her desperate for love

I’m really not sure how I feel about it. It was nice to ‘see’ everyone again, and the storyline/script was familiar enough and along the right lines, but I can’t get on board with Toadie and Therese. I know we’ve skipped some years into the future for some unfathomable reason, but Toadie and Melanie worked well together, as did Paul and Therese. There’s a hell of a lot happened in a few short years to split up both couples, have them get together, and have both ex partners so calm and together about it that they are not only happy guests at the wedding, but also playing a major part in helping the happy couple get ready. That just does not fit with the Paul Robinson character at all.

I am not impressed with the marriage, I hope it’s a dream.

What do people think of Harold? Dementia storyline?

And what secret is Susan hiding? She was very evasive about the jewellery with Jane and I read she’ll be hiding a secret from Karl

Just watched- I kept thinking how weird it was to see Micha Barton in Neighbours- but then Caleb Cooper was Jim Robinson!

Was nice to see Imogen too, a couple of characters I'll quite miss!

So Toadie and Therese...not sure what to make of that but at least it's getting people talking about Neighbours again, I suppose!

Did anyone get what the new lad picked up off the ground when they arrived on Ramsey Street? Couldn't make it out.

I thought it was confetti 😅

Yep, confetti - hopefully just a throwback to the confetti that went up at the street party, rather than trying to make us actually think it was a piece of the actual confetti 😂

Now boy (JJ?) Really reminded me of Ringo brown.

Just watched it. So confused.
Not happy about therese and toadie. We were all rooting for Paul and therese at the end. I don’t know why they’d spilt them up.
would have been a perfectly good beginning to have them remarry in the first episode

Yay, I was right it was a flashback scene with Mel! A year seems even more whirlwind though, two seemed a bit too fast as it was!

Liking what I’ve seen of Haz (?) hope he’s a nice guy 🤞

Nell is still seeming a bit old, maybe eventually I’ll warm to her, but tbh when they age kids up it’s usually because they want to give them annoying tween storylines so I’m not holding my breath.

Harold is definitely unwell 🙁

Still no more answers on JJ’s quest, no idea what his family are scared of, what Susan’s hiding etc

I also thought it was confetti and I thought it's a bit odd to have a piece still there 2 years later. It's not like it's glitter that stays around forever 😂

Also I can not get on board with the Terese and Toadie thing! It's been 2 years! How long did his marriage to Mel last??
And why is she still there getting the kids ready?
