I think Ruan would have got away with it last year, on the smaller boat etc as they wouldn't have had to do the same checks, so perhaps that's how it slipped past the production etc.

I know Sandy started by saying it had all gone to shit but bloody hell, she wasn't wrong eh! So am wondering if Natalya is staying as Tumi and Kyle (ugh) turn up? Looked like a stew def gets kicked off so very curious to find out who that is.

Luca is so lovely I really hope he can cope with the extra pressure of stepping up, and I hope they can get a nice bosun in, because let's face it there have been some utter dickos...

I dunno. Is there another BD Adventure? To me it felt like the double eps were so they have one series running at a time and can fit all four in a year but I’m not sure.

The trouble with US tv is that it can have no rhyme or reason to scheduling sometimes!

Totally rooting for Luca. Sandy said it was 4 stews needed for such a big ship but I wonder if she will keep the other as an extra deckie? Especially if they have to wait two weeks for someone but Kyle and Tumi are just off for one charter.

I think that production probably knew that his paperwork wasn't up to scratch but kept him on anyway to have drama of him getting kicked off. They knew they had Luka on board with the qualifications to step in.
By the sounds of it they will give him a couple of weeks to settle in the role and then pull the rug from under him by bringing in a new bosun and create drama between the two of them.

Luka seems so chill I think he might handle it in true kiwi style while Natalya plots Tumi’s demise!

Tumi was so lovely in BDAus, even if she is influenced by Kyle she’s still handling things quite harshly. Although Natalya needs to stfu and not answer back like a teenager. There will of course be a power struggle between Kyle and Nat and I feel like Kyle making sure he has Tumi’s ear is all part of it. Get in there early, be bffs just like last time. Nat will have to clique with Jess.

I hope Tumi gets her own opinions on it all. I think both Nat and Kyle can create a toxic work environment but probably both work really well when they have subs and are in charge.

Really surprised that Tumi came in so HOT! Thought it was very rude of her to say to Nat that she would never live in Miami, and it just went downhill from there. She was so lovely in BDDU, obviously feeling the pressure now... this is going to be an interesting season!

Natalya and Kyle are so toxic in todays ep. They are just there with giant spoons stirring away.

I think most of the problem between Natalya & Tumi is from Kyle stirring the point & being in the ear of both of them.

I noticed Natalya giving the very same hand/finger waggles to Tumi (pronounced tummy if you are chef...) that she said she didn't like 😂 such a shame Cap'n Sandy didn't bang both their heads together really.... I am wondering if Tumi was told to bring it in like that, either that or she just felt she could because of the things she'd been told. Love that Kyle messed up the dinner order, caused friction between chef and tummy and paid no consequence 😈

Kyle definitely stirring between Tumi and Natalya but equally Natalya stirring between chef and Tumi.

Captain Sandy was on WWHL this week and she seemed to imply Kyle stirring but also had much praise for him. Andy also asked her about all her Med chief stews she was still in contact with and Tumi was on that list.

Is anyone watching Southern Charm? Austin is get more and more annoying in every series.

Winter house is Kyle & Amanda and "friends" from summer house in a winter version. This one does seem extra contrived with Below Deck people added in. And Tom Swartz post Raquelgate!

We’re watching Below Deck Adventure - I think this must be the most unlikeable crew of any BD series.

I really struggled with foggy out the chief stew.

I liked one of the stews, the one that the deckhand was creepy with. I didn’t mind captain Kerry. I can’t remember anyone else lol.
