I’m disappointed that Gary will be back. I can’t stand his voice & I can’t understand why the stews are attracted to him 🤢🤷‍♀️ He’s so unattractive in every way. Even Glen behaves like he has a crush on him!

Colin always seems sweet & rational (although he is mates with Gary…!) & agree that hopefully he will stay that way.

I’m hoping that the Welsh stew (can’t remember her name) brings some comedy gold to the season. She seems like a laugh & warm personality.

overall though I only kind of half watched, whilst being distracted with other things. I think perhaps my BDSY days are coming to a close. I’m just not sure that I can be bothered to witness another 10+ hours of Gary’s whining & shagging exploits.

Mads or Lucy - Wikipedia has them down as 2nd and 3rd stew.....but daisy was clear they were both equal Junior Stews. Do the good editors of Wikipedia know something we don't.....

(I said I was bored of the Gary/Daisy shenanigans last series.....I'm still back again!!)

I’m shipping Colin and Daisy (unless it’s a disaster).

They are both good people and they deserve good people! I’m glad this ep was low Gary. I appreciate he is good at his job. I accept he will crack on with any stew. I want him to leave Daisy alone.

OMG...I never fail to be disgusted at the state some of the guests leave their cabins in! Do they do it on purpose or are people really that rank?

Blood on the bed is not acceptable without examining it/apologising for it. (Having had a child suffer with nosebleeds at night a lot....till we got to the bottom of it.....if we forgot our own bedding and got blood somewhere I always apologise, strip the beds etc.....blood is hazardous.....not fair to make others deal with it!)

It was absolutely disgusting the state they left the rooms in, but then to complain and refuse to tip, what a nasty pair Although I do agree, the engine should have been checked before the first guests arrived on the boat, I would have been asking for a discount because of that.

The new crew seems really nice. Actually, sailing yacht always seems to be a good team who work and get on well together. I'm liking the chef.

I'd be extremely unhappy if i'd paid all that money for a sailing yacht that never left the dock. I think I would have either left & gone to a nice hotel, wanted an extremely large discount or be given another trip to make up for it.

But agree about the absolute state they left their rooms in, absolutely disgusting

Ok I just caught up with Summer House. I know that in the US weddings are a bigger deal than here and I don’t always get the over investment from people but I think Danielle is being OTT. I totally came into this series waiting for the moment that Lindsey fucked up their friendship…

@MiddleClassProblem Hope it's ok to interrupt BD thread but I watched Summer House tonight and really think Danielle's reaction was bizarre too. Maybe in the US proposals are done differently but I'm amazed Carl told anyone what he was planning to do. Danielle is way too invested with L&C. I do wonder that because her relationship is quite difficult because of Robert's working hours she's rather envious of a couple who see each other all the time, are madly in love and now engaged?

@lingmerth Don’t worry. We talk all things Hayu/Bravo here but most people don’t watch all series. As Below Deck runs all year round though it works as an anchor! 👀

Bringing it back to BD when Colin was lying on the floor talking to Daisy about not hooking up with people but not mentioning Daisy, there was so much heat coming of him.

There also seem to be more wild lines this season, not meaning the recorded them after but maybe they aren’t from that exact moment when you hear a voice of someone off camera but it’s weird they don’t show them on camera saying it as they were just there, iyswim.

I haven't noticed the wild lines but I'll definitely pay more attention now. I think Colin seems like a really nice guy and I love Daisy. Gary makes my skin crawl, he called himself the dirty old uncle last night and that is exactly who he is, I do not see what is attractive about him at all. He does seem to think he's the big man this season too and he's making Daisy's life difficult. There are only 3 stews and at the moment she really seems to be floundering. Is it because the two junior stews lack the experience to support her, or is it that she usually has more support from the deck hands? I like how Colin always offers to help in the kitchen.

When Gary was running around in his pants the other day it was so ick. I’m partial to a dad bod but stick a dickhead personality on it and weird boxers, and it’s gross.

Colin is pretty perfect. Nice guy, can cook, helpful, respectful, likes dogs, doesn’t get embarrassingly hammered every night. Probably smells of cigarettes but otherwise perfect.

I like Colin, he does seem genuine. I liked how he instantly discounted anything romantic with the younger female stews and the chef because she's in a relationship. Gary does seem very sleazy at times.

We watch on Hayu. You can attach it to Amazon Prime or Now TV. Possibly other places but I’m not sure.

Sorry I've been absent for a while.....Danielle was crazy. I think she may have just been drunk and emotional. But not sure there is any coming back from that. I am desperate for the reunion. And looking forward to a fun next series without Carl and Lindsey being around.
(Although I predict Amanda will be PG and not in as many episodes by next summer....)

Off on a tangent - was watching Gordon Ramsey's future food stars where they had to market a vodka based canned drink. One team came up with Hard Tea.....what a good idea I thought. No one sells that in the UK. Quick Google and what comes back as one of the biggest Hard Tea brands? Doh!! It's as if I have never watched Summer House. (Although they still don't have a UK distributor so maybe there's an opportunity there....)
